      UNO beat UNL back when I was in school (Turner Gil playing era,  He played shortstop)  The UNO pitcher walked about 12, but UNL could not get a timely hit.  Stuff happens in sports

      Saw 2 cars this week in Milwaukee with Husker license plate frames.  The one was a Lexus SUV.  Told my Wisconsin buddies it was Barry Alvarez!

      If you have a daughter at any university, tell them to go the the police not the campus police if they are a victim of assault.  The campus police are university employees and their main job is to protect the university.

    Total bush league by Tabata with Sherzer having perfect game going. Leaned into an inside pitch that hit his elbow which he conveniently had armor on. Gotta get rid of the body armor in baseball. No way he leans into that without the armor on.

    So the fiancée just informed me that we are suppose to get the ring bear, junior groomsmen and junior bridesmaid a wedding gift. Ummm is this normal to do?
