    Why are people hung up on losing in week 1? For the last 7 years the only thing determining when we won or lost a game was pretty much determined by when we were scheduled to play a team with a heartbeat or a patsy. So we played a good team in week 1 for once, so what? Is it really any different than losing in week 3 or 6 or........?

      I think there is some truth to what he is saying. This off-season there was a lot of "I will be happy if we play well and have some close losses" I don't really like that. I would be happier if we played bad and won.

      And your higher level of contempt and disdain for losing accomplishes exactly what? You're a more pure fan? You want the mid 90's back worse than the next guy? You're a better fan because it bothers you more? What is it that let's you shake your head and look down in disgust at these "other" fans?
