@cheekygeek I'm about 50 miles north of Denver and the news stations are saying it's another bomb cyclone. I'm guessing their meterologists know how many millibars it has dropped....or maybe they just wanted to use the phrase again 

It ended up being a fairly minor snowstorm, but the mixture of rain/sleet/snow made the roads very icy after the sun went down last night.

Yeah it was a pretty lame "bomb cyclone". When I was a kid they would've just said "it might snow" and that would've covered it. Laughably, businesses we're closing and people going home early. I blame movies like Sharknado...
