    I’m having a hard time feeling sorry for the Los Angeles woman who was arrested for treason in Russia. She may be a dual national but common sense screams STAY THE F OUT OF RUSSIA. Can’t get arrested in Russia if you aren’t in Russia. Pretty effin simple.

    The Wire is awesome. Speaking of “ducks”. The other day I referenced Pulp Fiction to my son and he said he’d never seen it. I couldn’t believe it. I gave him a slack jawed WTF and he thought that was pretty funny.

    Funny you should bring up Suits. My wife has been telling me these last few weeks that I should watch it. Finally decided I would and NOW it gets recommended on HB.

    Got Sports Illustrated all through the 70’s until about 81. It was awesome back in the day. Nothing like the AI contrived sensationalism of today. Also miss MAD magazine. Didn’t really do any other mags except we had Playboys and the occasional Penthouse in “the fort”.

    I agree. Thought it was very well done but hearing some of the dialogue was problematic. I found out I really didn’t know much about Oppenheimer beyond the obvious. I thought Cillian, Downey jr and Damon were fantastic. Often it’s very easy to associate actors with prior roles but all 3 were excellent at not reminding me of anything except who they were playing in this movie.

    I just saw who CU signed on for DC and OC. If those same 2 guys were hired for even analyst positions at Nebraska people would be having a conniption fit at how we screwed the pooch….but the media is still blowing Deion.

    Yes that is what’s going on. I’m shooting the messenger because this particular messenger is always and constantly passing on messages that align with his party line thinking. Doing the same things constantly all day every day while tossing in infrequent brief statements about how fair and balanced you are….is that really supposed to fool us? What a joke.

Tried to rig and steal a national election and incited an angry mob to insurrection resulting in the storming of the capital and numerous injuries and deaths to leos. Willis: had a relationship with a man (gasp). Archy: waaaa, oh the hypocrisy.

    Everybody in CFB pales in comparison to Keith Jackson. Now get off my lawn. I like Tony Romo for NFL games. He usually gets too into the game and ends up talking too much towards the end of games but he provides good insight from a players perspective.

    Pretty much this. Although I was looking forward to Usher. I’ve got 4 or 5 of his songs in my library and was expecting to enjoy it. Not so much tho. His first 4 songs tuned me out. Yeah and OMG are great songs but the OMG blurb was very brief and Yeah doesn’t sound near as good unless you have it on 11 with a good sub thumping.

    The same thought entered my mind The Broncos don’t like the Chiefs. At. All. But they were barely a speed bump in Elway’s day. It would’ve been better if Elway had a scowl on his face but he seemed glad to be there, hugging people and crap.

    Ehhh, I don’t think Shanahan screwed the pooch that badly there at the end. Sure they should’ve elected defense first but I doubt it changed the outcome. Reverse the possessions and the 49ers would’ve had one more down to try for a TD instead of kicking the FG. The bigger problem imo was not getting that TD in the red zone. But I’m biased as I needed SF +3.5 so either way it ended perfectly for me.

    Good game. I could’ve made more $$ if the Niners would’ve won but did pretty good anyway thanks to threading the needle on a couple pretty wild single game parlays.

    Yeah, there is no sense in defending either one of their memories. They are both too old and mentally feeble. There are limitless examples of both misspeaking and being confused. This is why there needs to be an age limit for President, Senators and Congress persons. But these are the two poor choices the system has left us with. I’ll take the doddering old man over the doddering old willfully criminal and tyrannical d!(k all day long.

    Well I settled on Niners to win. Plenty of player props and offense but keep it under 57.5 please. 31-24 Niners would be good.
