I don't take it as an "attack". I just posed the question Opinions of Big Red fans are like noses--everyone has one and the coaches will make the decisions without considering any half baked fan comments. But my thinking is that we had a scrimmage yesterday against a very very weak team. Further I believe that our passing attack will not be near that of last season with Ganz and his senior recievers. If I am right teams will key on our running game and shut it down. I don't believe we will beat good teams with our passing attack. With Green, assuming he gets more time and proves himself capable or Lee doesn't prove me wrong and win games against tough opponents, teams will have a very much tougher time shutting down the running game. There is a very dangerous QB with designed running plays. It opens up the option play and also reverses to keep a defense off balance. Play action passes should then open up. I could be wrong but assuming he can assimilate the offense, Green will be much more likely to compete with teams like VT, Misery, Oklahoma and KU. Time will tell. I am in no way disrespecting Zac and feel there is a good chance he will prove me wrong. However I believe there is an equal chance when we actually have a worthy opponent, Green will be a better option. Lee guided the Huskers to 42-3 lead before handing over the huddle to Green who went 2-3 for 18 yrds, but did have a very nice run by the sounds of it. (i didnt get to watch the game, had to listen to it on the computer) against the very same team that you said was very very weak. Turner Gill and Tommy Frazier both came on to start during their freshman year so anything is possible but barring any injury, i am happy with Lee and excited about him and cant wait to see him play each week, as his confidence keeps building and he gets better and better

maybe what needs to be done is for NU to hire a Recruiting Coordinator that does nothing else. Not a Wide Receivers coach. Not a Linebackers coach. Not a Running Backs coach. This persons job would be to take messages from Recruits that call the Coaches when they are not in the office and make sure that the phone calls are returned in a timely manner. They would make sure that each of the coaches have sent out a specified number of hand written letters each week. They would remind the coaches to visit Recruit X while in the area of Potential Recruit Y This seems to be a time management issue with balancing recruiting and coaching, and oh throw in family quality of life also. just a thought

Bo has stated many times before that he goes to Dr Tom and asks advice, and Tom gives it with the caveat, "It's your team, you have to do what you think is right". we dont know what Glenn did, we dont know what Dixon did, we dont know what Q did, other than they violated some team rule and was punished for it. we may never know what happened, and i am fine with that. It is between Q and Bo, and IF either of them want us to know they will tell us. but dont count on it

it is a long way off until signing day, so i am not real worried at this point. just because a recruit is committed to another school does not mean that they will sign there. kids change their minds all of the time, just look at the recruits from past recruiting classes at NU. it will never be over until you have a signed letter of intent, and i am sure that the coaching staff will continue to recruit kids even though they have committed to another school. it may not be easy to change their minds, but they wont stop recruiting them. is gilmore the right recruiting coordinator? hell i dont even know what that job entails, but add that position to a coach and it has to be difficult maybe NU needs a recruiting coordinator that does nothing else but that

Trust me...if she'd let me spend that, I'd be all over it. ebay might be a better option for you, for that price you should get decent seats for the 2 non-conference games that are not the 300th. i would expect the 300th sell out tix to go for a premium because everyone will want to be there for that one. anyway good luck and enjoy the game. i will have to follow the ticker on AFN

ticket hippo has 2 tickets available for the 300th, section 5 row B, right behind the Husker bench for $168 each about as close to the team that you will get

for that price you should be able to get some good seats on ebay. i like east stadium balcony seats to me south endzone seats are better because of the replay board on the north. game day atmosphere any seat is a good seat

It's a roster issue. They can only have 105 guys on roster. If he's hurt it's not worth putting him on the roster when you've got half a bazillion walk-ons looking for a spot. that is correct. he is not on the 105 man roster because the coaching staff does not want to put him out there until his knee is at 100% he will join the rest of the team when classes begin
