  1. I do not think that the fans should end the sellout streak because they are angry the team and coaches suck. On the contrary, we should show the coaches and players that we will continue to support them and hope that Nebraska returns to relevance and let them have no one to blame for their undisciplined and lackluster performance but themselves. They need to look the fans in the packed stadium in the eyes after each poor performance and feel how they are letting the whole state down. Ending the sellout streak will only give them a justification to give up completely if they have not done so already. Based on Saturday’s performance, I saw a team (coaches included of course) accustomed to losing and not believing they have what it takes to beat anyone in the BIG. So sad! IMO, ending the streak would be a disastrous mistake. If the fans give up, recruiting will suffer tremendously.
  2. The real problem is that Frost and Verduzco believe they can make Adrian be a pocket passer when he clearly is the furthest from that. They have been trying and failing for three years now. At what point do they realize that doing the same exact crap and expecting different results is insanity?
  3. Last season, Frost and the players decided that going to a bowl game and having extra practices was not important. This team needs all the practices they can muster. They look like this is the first time they took the field as one team. No wonder we had another mass exodus this summer. May be those players knew this was coming.
  4. Any successful coach will tell you that special teams are the difference between winning and losing. When you can’t punt, can’t score a point after, can’t decide when to fair catch the ball or advance it, don’t know it is a horrible decision to field the ball at the one yard line, then you do not have special teams. What we have is a disaster team that you have to hold your breath they don’t do something stupid that costs you the game every time the opponent punts or you have to punt. We used to have some of the best kickers and punters in the country…when did we stop recruiting the best? Frost has not invested a second of his time to address special teams issues or if he did then he has failed miserably. We need a dedicated special teams coach who knows what they are doing. For four years I have been saying our special teams are atrocious and the media pointed that out on many occasions yet Frost and his staff believe that this issue will resolve itself by talking to the players. At this point, bring any husker fan and they probably will do a better job than our unspecial teams coach. Enough is enough. Talk is cheap and it is time for some action. Yesterday’s $hit show was embarrassing. When was the last time we missed two points after? When was the last time our special teams did anything positive to win us a game? Frost can’t keep ignoring this problem and hoping God will fix it for him.
  5. By now, Frost has had the opportunity to get all his players and he had been given a chance to maintain all his coaches. Four years in, and we see little to no improvement. What excuses can he have? If it is the culture of the players then he is the one to blame because these players are the ones he and his coaches recruited. If it is talent…again, he recruited them. If it is lack of discipline then he is also to blame as he had enough time to impress upon them the importance of playing smart. Frost has been afforded every opportunity to succeed yet we continue to see a decline in performance. Yes, decline. I understand it is only one game, but can you tell me one positive thing that gives us hope that our special teams will improve? The special teams play was so atrocious, high school teams would be embarrassed after a performance like yesterday’s. Our offense with Adrian Martinez has no identity. Play calling is questionable and chaotic. Frost gets $5 million a year for this s h I t show. Tell me one other person that is afforded this luxury without producing results on the field. Continuing to do the same thing and expecting different results is idiotic and that is the approach this coaching staff are taking. They do not know what they are doing and they are hoping to get lucky. That ain’t going to happen. This season will be no different than previous three. In fact, I just hope it is not worse. I have no solutions and no suggestions for new coaches but what we have is not working and Frost took zero steps to correct issues with special teams which makes me think, he does not know how to fix any of this but he continues to collect his big fat checks.
  6. Bob stoops is not coming to Nebraska…can we please stop saying ridiculous things…
  7. On paper, we have the better talent and experience players compared to Illinois. So, why did we lose? Coaching…Bret Bielema can get more from his players than Frost can ever do with better talent. At the end of the day, it comes down to coaching. If Bielema had our players, he would have run the opposing team out of the field. He was pacing all day and engaging with his players and Frost was treating the game as if it were a red and white game. Really disappointing from someone I have so much respect for.
  8. We did not like 9 wins a season with Bo Pelini. Hm………
  9. Nothing different from last year but I am going to list again for emphasis: (1) it is apparent that Frost does not believe that he needs special teams because we do not have any (2) any player from the women’s soccer squad can kick better than our kickers (3) Adrian Martinez was in a comma since last season and just woke up for the game because his performance is exactly the same as last year with the added rust accumulated during the comma (4) our offense has no identity what so ever (5) we have no stand out players in any position (6) we probably lead all college football in most penalties over the past four years (7) we are irrelevant (8) Frost is not the answer. He is way over his head and needs to admit that he cannot fix this nightmare (9) we play with no fire or passion and this whole squad looks like they do not believe they can win a game. Zero confidence and subzero swagger.
  10. I was excited all week for this game and I had high hopes for this team in Frost’s 4th year. After this game, it looks like another 4-8 or 3-9 season. I did not see one thing that gives me hope we can turn things around. Not one player stood out for me and our unspecified teams keep sinking to lower depths every year

  12. This team and this coaching staff have become accustomed to losing to the point that they are numb and do not feel sorry for losing anymore. Now it is time to hear the piles of BS that will come out of coaches and players mouths.
  13. We lost…typical Frost time management s#!t and horrible play calling
  14. I can make a 40 yard kick and I am not a professional football player. This guy sucks so bad
  15. Whoever is coaching special teams needs to walk home and I do not mean Nebraska, I mean wherever the hell they came from. This is absurd. Anyone on this board can do a better job at coaching special teams for 1/10 the salary.
  16. This coaching staff has not earned the respect of these players. The only consistent thing we had in four years is the undisciplined play and untimely penalties. That is it
  17. If he could not fix the penalties over the four years he has been here, he just can’t be successful at Nebraska. What is the penalty comparison for this game? Last year, as soon as I heard bielema went to Illinois, I knew they hit the jackpot. Based on our performance, this game might be the closest score against a Big opponent this year.
  18. Look at how disciplined a Bret bielema team is compared to a Frost disaster
  19. We have not improved at all…our performance in year four is as atrocious as it was in year one. I can actually argue that we played better in year one under Frost. Which says more about Riley’s team than Frost’s coaching
  20. These players do not respect Frost because if they did, they would not be committing so many penalties
  21. We can’t afford them wasting time and extending the drive. We need either a turnover or we need to stop them.
