Hearing all the players today talking about how fast we are going to go on offense brings a question to mind: How far will opposing teams go to slow us down? As far as faking injuries? Not trying to take players getting injured lightly. And I will never claim to know if a player is faking an injury or not. But, I have a feeling we are going to get tired/irritated seeing players laying on he field to let their team substitute only to return to the field the next time the defense rotates.

I think the plan is going to be to stick with AM through the ups and downs now that they have picked a starter.

Lol I don’t think anyone knows anything the media has not told us already. All I’ve heard is that it’s a close race. I think Huskeronline has a public story up about a scrimmage tomorrow that could go a long way in deciding the race.

I think some guys have been placed on scout team, and by now the guys competing for spots are getting more reps.

Sounds like Avery Roberts will be transferring as well. I was told he just really didn’t want to put in the work. This one sucks because of the potential.

Yes! I listen to their podcast I should have referenced them. Not trying to take credit for their work. I have heard the 93.7 the ticket guys all using the “point guard” term as well. I think it’s kind of the buzz word with the local media guys right now. I like the analogy though I think it fits especially well with this offensive system.

I think what is going to make the most difference in the competition is the qb’s ability to be that “point guard” player. Whoever is able to distribute the ball to the play makers most efficiently is going to be the guy. A tie situation goes to Martinez for his running ability. I think Martinez will win the job. Just my 2 cents.

No they have sellout streak insurance for this exact situation. So if you turn in your tickets the geico gecko comes personally to purchase them before the game starts.

How was it extremely subpar? He played in the Dallas ft worth area. I’m pretty sure there is pleanty of talent down there.

Found this comment by Steve Addizio who was OC for Meyer at Florida. Meyer basically has a snowballs chance in hell of keeping his job at this point. The more stuff like this that comes out about Meyers staff knowing about the situation the more he looks like a scum bag just trying to cover it up. There was no lift scheduled today. But, coach Duval is still having the big boys come in to put in extra work. It all starts up front.

I do the same thing! I dont ever really quit playing. I just consider my time away a hiatus! I got back on in legion since I took a break after panda land. Im pumped for the new expansion!
