It will be great to have a sure tackler at CB again and someone who can get off blocks and stop the quick bubble screens. Don't know if Illinois or Wisconsin run those much, but a healthy Jones is for sure an upgrade.

Summary: Eichorst Highest paid AD in country. Made coaches read a lot of books. Didn't meet with them in person much. Boosters didn't like dealing with him. Irrelevant call to Alvarez by Lee. Rabble rabble rabble about other stuff. Has 10 assistant ADs that make a lot of money and we don't trust any of them to hold the interim title.

Agreed, it makes evaluating individual talent very difficult. For example, Lamar Jackson. Came out of high school as a stud, imposing body type (I remember Banderas saying he thought he looked like a new DE last year), athletic, but for whatever reason he seems like the teams weakest tackler and not all that great of a CB. Can't tell if it's his lack of talent or piss poor coaching and preparation.
