Watching the FCS championship game, they said a SDSU kid turned down NIL deals to stay there. (I am not sure if he meant real deals, or the chance at deals?? Not sure??) Got me thinking, since collectives are, "not part of UNL", can they reach out to kids at other schools? Just wondering if this is monitored??

That also was another thing I had forgotten about. I became a Mike Leach fan after that situation, then reading his book.

For show, not a show. Sorry, I should have dropped the a. And the ESPN comment, that is correct. I watch ESPN for games. I stopped watching them for everything else since the Longhorn Network.

The difference is he was praying for someone else, not to have it as a show. The Pharisees did it as a show to let everyone know they were already righteous in the eyes of God. To show that they were spiritually above the other people. It was more about themselves and not God or anyone else.

I think it is safe to say that everyone underperformed during the Scott Fraud era. I think MJ (if he didn't choose to strangle his wife) would do a much better job under Rhule. We are coming out of an era that had a bunch of frat boys running things. We now have an adult. Lets give it time before complaining too much.

For clarification, this was the week after the Michigan loss, and yes, they said they need better athletes. Anyone could donate to the cause.

Can someone either explain the whole NIL process, or link a site for the process? When Ohio State was running spots on local news for money, I was surprised. (It may have been a 1890 equivalent?? Not sure?) They also said the players would be doing community and charity projects as well for the money. This was done because OSU stated, they need better players.

Talking in their conference. Just like the B1G. The rest of their conference is way overrated for the talent they get. Georgia and Alabama carries the conference, just like Nebraska-Oklahoma carried the Big 8. It is the lovefest gets old...

eSECpn's love affair of SEC is ridiculous. SEC has a 2 to 3 great teams every year. The rest of the conference is average. I get tired of it. The excuses the ESPN guys make for their loses gets old.

With the Scott Fraud s#!t show that just left town, nothing is underwhelming.

They had zero chance of winning this game with Brohm leaving. With Brohm they would have been a double digit dog.

Saying Scott Fraud screwed up on a local kid is a water is wet moment. BUT so did Riley and Pelini. I think Rhule might do better than all three of them.

It is Texas so they have to talk about how important they are. Most HS teachers/Football coaches in the country have similar schedules. We do it for the love of the game and the kids.
