  1. You are right. He won in college.
  2. Our last HC was just trying to live his college days over with a lot of money. Trying to get Burrow of Dugan was just too much work.
  3. Too bad for them. Rhule's words are code for development and becoming a better player. In turn make players better, making our team better, making our players more money in NIL and some the NFL. Short sided people are fools. If people don't want it, they can leave.
  4. Well, we are in that period. Old coaches out, new coaches in. Coaches we don't like are gone, but so are some of them we like are gone too. Old players leaving. Good players, bad players, players we like. Recruits decommitting, hearing new names we have never heard. I am so disappointed and sad about the Mickey thing and his family. This time kind of sucks, but so has the last 5+ years. That is my focus. We have SUCKED, we have been an embarrassment. We have been a laughing stock to the B1G and the rest of the country. Hell, Husker Nation should sue Scott Frost for stealing money and our freaking hearts. I have decided to move forward. This period sucks, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I hope we got it right. We may lose everyone from the 4 win team. We may have a bad recruiting class. But I think we need to look forward. I think we will soon be able to hold our heads high! GO BIG FREAKIN' RED!!
  5. Thread steal: I get excited EVERY time the McRib comes out. I get one then I am like, "WHAT, I used to love these, this sucks!" Next time comes, rinse, and repeat!
  6. I think even before the MJ situation things with staff, current players and recruits was going to suck. While it is exciting to us to get a new HC who doesn't seem to be a disaster, it is hard for these people who are rarely anymore committed to a school but people. I don't know how it was in my day, but kids today are all about relationships. I lost a HC in college who really had a lot to do with my success. He was the guy who worked with me the most and helped me. (Track) When he left all my gains left with him for the most point. I never seriously considered leaving. I was there for an education.
  7. He has talked about it before. I think same night as Lawrence Phillip issue.
  8. Yes too soon, we are still in the he must had choked Frost for the crappy job he did zone.
  9. Such a sad day, for Mickey and his family. But also for the players that have grown close to him. This really affects a lot of people in the program. Just a sad, sad day....
  10. This is where I am. It should not be performance based. Hell, the bad performance earlier in the year was on the DC anyway. I know a Blackshirt very well. He would agree with this assessment.
  11. I liked how Trev talked about what he was looking for in a coach. He should have ended it with, basically everything that Scott Frost wasn't.
  12. I say ask the 80's and 90's guys the tradition. If you aren't going to do it that way, drop it.
  13. He has a whole new world of HS girls in Lincoln, he will be fine.
  14. The internet went out at school. I made myself end up at home so I could listen to the press conference. Actually, most of what I had to do I needed internet.
  15. Weren't you leaving if Rhule was hired? Or am I thinking of somewhere else?
  16. If you work hard enough and believe you can accomplish anything....
