Navy's first 3 possessions ended in punts. Next one was the long TD drive. They were driving again but a tipped pass was intercepted. UCF had a good run and attempted a last play FG before halftime.
QB Wilton was holding the back of his thigh after a run so went to the sideline.
After UCF punted, Navy had a long drive of 92 yards for TD. Big pass play was a good chunk of it.
Milton is back out after a good kick-off return. TD after a few pays. UCF 14-7.
yeah yeah yeah... and when you're shivering in your igloo with the wind chill at -80 you can think of me in a beach chair sipping some fruity cocktail, tapping the orange tree beside me for a fresh orange to fall, watching bathing beauties walk by, with a refreshing breeze coming off the ocean...
Kicking Iraq out of Kuwait was a conflict, the D-Day invasion of Normandy was a major conflict.
(okay, so my interest in wargaming took over)
Speaking of which, YAHOOOO! I get to watch after my Saturday afternoon wargaming; instead of taping it and avoiding all mentioning of football scores.
hah! I've been down here over 30 years and have yet to go to a Jai Alai game. But then, so have a lot of people who have lived here all their life.
It's a sport for gamblers (more so than other sports)
Sounds like some spoiled princess throwing a temper tantrum and wanting someone thrown out of her party "NOW!" for spilling some kool-aid on her party dress.
Aren't there flights from LNK to DFW and back? It has been a LONG time since I worked the parking lot toll booth in Lincoln but we did have the schedule of flights. I'm fairly certain DFW was one of places aircraft flew in from, at least back then (late 70s).
Egads, that was cold during the winter and the wind blowing. No insulation and a teeny tiny space heater in those toll booths.
Since announcers seem to be all upbeat, I wonder if they turn off the mike, turn away, and speak into a cloth (something to smother their talk) saying something like "Man, that other team just sucks!" just so they get it out of their system.
NU has a bye week, right? I'll go get Madden football and start playing all day for a week. That should qualify me to be a HC. And I'll get a friend of mine who knows a lot more to be my assistant.
The contest is decided by a cheerleader pageant. In past years I might find one beauty among the NU cheerleaders (but then I'm quite picky), but this year's group has many (to my eyes at least). Perhaps tOSU cheerleaders are quite fetching, too, I'd like to watch (probably more than the game).
