last time i checked my calendar says 2009, not 2008. Be proud, yell loud. The team needs it. And for gods sake... can we please not have everyone butting heads and if lee goes into the game not have half the stadium burst in to chants of "cody"? or how about not boo the offense if they drop a ball or throw a bubble screen...? Remember T.Tech? Seriously, I wish I could be there and I hope y'all will be loud and stay loud, even if a swing pass goes errant. Maybe you could all sing "We Are Family"

As am I Me Too I thought we prided ourselves on being classy? Remember, the best fans in college football?

Folks we only have so many college football games in a year and I feel it is time to forgive and move on. We may not be playing for the NC, but there is plenty of ups (and downs) left. So I forgive.... Niles Paul- I forgive you. I don't know why you are always the first person I cuss and there is plenty of blame to go around Myself- I was going to the Baylor game this week and then I cancelled after last week. That is not a true fan and I let my emotions rule. It will never happen again.

I am in denial. I waited all year for this football season and things started off so swimmingly, then the sky fell. This week I have been in a sort of denial. Hardly looking at articles, sites, and begrudgeingly placing this week's football picks in my fantasy league. and then gameday came on and I saw the Oregon fans who showed up in the dark and at 6 am for a night game. Then I read a thread on here about it being game day. Then I turned on the pre-game. And I realized that I love college football and that everything will be alright it's just not our time-yet. And I realized that we really are a part of something that is special. and hope springs enternal. GO HUSKERS

Yup, they sure do. Didn't see the running backs spittin in the lines face at the VT game. Just because they didn't have any penalties and did ok at their jobs doesn't make 'em commander in chief. IMO

Easy dude, go take a trip around the outside of the house and take a breather. It always helps here when the Big Red pi$$ me off. You might try what I am going to do. I am going to ingest some chicken that was left on the counter overnite. Hopefully, I will get food posioning. Can a coach have "fire" and still be rational? He seems to work up into an uncontrolled frenzy, which on Saturday, brought a sense of chaos to the team instead of posed confidence that we could come back and win. Love his fire, but sometimes it doesn't suit the situation.

If memory serves, Howard Schnellerwhatever said this team was average talent,but well coached. This assessment seems accurate.

We've established that we sucked yesterday. Either we played above our means in the VT and Missouri game, or those two teams are not as good as we believed. Or could it be that we got to patting ourselves on the back for climbing up the rating ladder? Inexcusable given a prime time ABC game, but even on this board posters were pondering about next weeks ranking before we even played the TT game. I think it was a combination of poor attention to the task at hand, a very good coach exploiting our offensive weaknesses, and some poor offensive coaching. I do have to tsk tsk Bo for that. I know he is the defensive mind, but he needs to be the captain of the offensive side as well. The entire second half we played in a panic mode- put in Green, take green out, try this one for a few plays or a series, take that one out, etc... It like we got into a hole early with that lateral pass, dropped and returned for a TT TD and we had this self-fullfilling prophecy that nothing was going to go right. And that is exactly what happend.

A little rain and a little cool air brings out the whiskey, and whiskey gets ya a good three quarters of noise until they pass out or puke.

In my fantasy, I want the bowl picture to unfold so that we replay VT and claim what is ours. I cannot let that one go. I respect VT and know that our offense sucked that day, but it still sucks to think about that game.
