I just do not see that happening man, Three main reasons why. 1) Mike's former boss has been fired, No AD wants to live and die with a coach they did not hire 2) fans have shown that if he sticks around, the sellout streak will end, and it will. 3) It is year three and this team has regressed. that is a red flag. Even Billy C played for a conference championship in year 3.

People are crazy, jeebus, Wash State was a freaking disaster before Moos came in... HAve you seen where they are now? Hiring Leach took balls, and vision. Moos clearly understands what a coach looks like. Paulwoof went 9-40 at WSU. Leach has this team in the top 10 to 15 range. Beating USC. This Moos guy was an AD at Oregon, this guy knows a helluva lot more to being an AD than Eichorst ever dreamed of... Rejoice husker fans.

Next you put players where they fit, Kalu was not a safety, he should hae been playing in L.Jackson's cb spot. Marcus Newby, and Young way too slow, Put some weight on Dismuke, put him at backer. I agree sir, it is coaching, and it is mental. It is a lack of focus, which is manifested from a lack of discipline. How many times do you see us do something good, and the very next play a false start? It is a momentum killer, and a confidence killer... This falls back on coaches, players have to held accountable, drop a pass, sit out a play, dumb penalty, sit out a play, throw pick six after pick six, POB go in a series.... There is no accountability, and no standard being set. These are young men, they need leaders to lead them, to teach them, to hold them to a standard.

I for sure thought I would wake up this morning to the headlines reading Mike Riley Fired, lol oh well. Anyways husker fans, how are you all feeling? I was listening to big red overreaction last night and Steve Taylor was talking about we lost to NIU, got blown out at home twice in two weeks, the fans made a mass exodus to their cars during half time, and the AD being fired, all this indicates that Riley is not coming back... I also listened to to the players post game, Chris Weber, and Tanner Lee did not try and defend their coaches, they both said they understood why the fans left, and why they were upset. Riley does not have control over this team, and this team has no confidence in the coaches, or themselves. I understand players play, but football is mostly mental. I feel bad for the kids, I feel bad for Husker nation, I feel bad for all the former players and coaches who built this program and have to watch it be decimated. I don't know if S. Frost is the answer, I believe he will be better than our last three hires though, that is if he came here. Frost could put his name in Husker lore until perpetuity if he rebuilt this program. On another note, I heard Riley talking about this being a building year... What were the last two years for then? I understand not wanted to upset Bo's players, but they did go 5-7 his first year, year one and two Riley could have pulled this stuff, but year three improvement needs to be seen. Which i see none...

Absolutely, all I hear from the kid in interviews is how he is going to light it up, and how his confidence has grown... blah blah blah... No joke, Davie was light years above this kids level...
