  1. My favorite thing about this video is seeing tight ends score at least two TDs. We finally have an offense that utilizes tight ends!
  2. Snook hasn't really produced any substantial evidence. He has had Zach's Mom (obvious reasons to lie) and Courtney's Mom (reportedly estranged/strained relationship) saying it is a conspiracy. His claim about Herman is weak at best. McMurphy has shared text messges, has police reports/court documents and on the record reports from Courtney. Not to mention he already shared text messages that makes Courtney's mom look like a liar. McMurphy has much better and more substantiated reporting. Snook looks like a fan trying desperately to save his team's coach. He has probably shown enough doubt to save Urban, but in my mind, Zach did this, Urban helped cover it up and Courtney is getting victim shamed by a bad reporter and fans for coming forward.
  3. Hmmm so a journalist who graduated from Ohio State and has written 4 books about Ohio State including one with a foreword from Urban Meyer publishes this report. This feels like victim blaming/shaming to me. Urban not only fired Smith, but admitted he knew something happened in 2015. Not to mention a judge granted a restraining order against Smith and those aren't easy to come by. Domestic Violence is notoriously hard to prosecute so the fact charges were never filed doesn't mean anything to me. This all makes me sick.
  4. Not that I saw. Gebbia could be behind Martinez from a mental aspect for all I know. I just think that's where Gebbia would win the job if he is going to at all.
  5. Personally, I think where Martinez loses this battle is on the mental side of things. If Gebbia can make better decisions he'll beat out Martinez even with this physical gifts. Reading the defense correctly and putting the ball in the spot that allows the offense to take advantage of defensive mismatches is more important in this offense then athleticism alone. Just my opinion, but I think Gebbia wins on the mental side of it.
  6. I'm going to go change my pants now...
  7. Have we reached peak preseason over analysis mode yet?
  8. These photos seem very strategically taken so as not to give any clues!
  9. Thanks for this! I was pretty young during the Bo transition and was curious how it compared. This is good to know.
  10. This thread didn't age well...
  11. Not doing this to be a jerk, but I just saw this tweet tonight. Austin thinks our depth is pretty good apparently.
  12. I don't think these gains are totally out of the question with proper diet and strength work. Plus, my guess is these guys are carrying a bit extra bad weight that they'll she'd come fall. When you're trying to build as much muscle as possibe it's not uncommon to gain fat too. The goal however is to then shed that fat but retain the muscle. That'll be the goal come fall camp and based on the speed they run these offenses I bet guys will drop pounds quick.
  13. I think this point is highlighted by several kids quiting football but staying at NU. They weren't having fun anymore and that bleeds over to teammates.
  14. I tried to trick myself into believing that Riley would be different. I don't think I ever really believed it was and it was nothing but let downs from game #1. Edit: I'm drinking as much Kool aid as I can!
  15. We'll beat Wisconsin in the weight room for sure. Duval is going to be a critical part of building the physicality we need to beat those blocks your talking about!
  16. Ha that's fair and I know he won't be Suh. Watching that GIF just made me dream of dominant d line days.
  17. It would be incredible if Vainuku was the second coming of that man.
  18. I'll start by saying if we go 6-6 or even 5-7 I don't consider it a bad year. However, I just feel like Frost knows what he's doing and is going to turn this ship around. I went 9-3 and 2nd in the west unless Wisconsin drops some extra games along the way. I think Michigan is going to be clicking this year because Harbaugh has no choice so that'll be a tough game. Wisconsin is one of those mental blocks that I think it will take a year or two to get over. The kids will have to really buy into their own success before we beat them. Ohio State is just going to be a couple years away and require better scheme understanding plus more s&c work. It might be a bit optimistic, but I think guys really gave up and quit last year making it worse than it should have been. I think most fans knew Riley needed a good year to stick around and when they struggled immediately in the opener I just felt like the air came out of the team. So, I am calling my shot at 9-3 and hope for even better. Can't wait for this season!
  19. You have to admit it is pretty impressive that SF and crew have the Huskers class at 27th in the nation and they haven't even used a single 2019 official visit yet!
  20. Thanks for posting the tweet. Couldn't figure out how to do it on my phone, ha. Big pick up!
