I want to make one comment regarding this topic. Please, for the love of God and Nebraska football, do not brag to other people about how awesome Nebraska fans are. I've seen a couple people do this in person and it really takes the shine off. Let other people tell them how awesome we are and let them experience it for themselves.

When we beat MSU at night in Lincoln in 2015, that was an awesome scene. (No snow, though.)

Our overall record is worse, but what matters for conference standings is conference W/L, and the the tiebreaker is head-to-head results. We should be ahead of Minnesota and Illinois. I'm not saying ESPN hates us - they've been pumping sunshine for us since Frost was hired, really - but it's true their B1G West standings are incorrect. (Also, see that Wisconsin is ranked behind Purdue, despite identical conference records and Wisconsin's superior overall record.)

Mazour is technically the #2 at Spielman’s position. I think that if Spielman can’t go we’re likely to see an increased role for him, and maybe more action in the slot motioning out of the backfield for Mo Washington (assuming he’s healthy). Frankly, we’re really thin at WR - would like to be able to plug and play with Williams and Woodyard, but their roles are circumscribed, it seems, until they grasp things conceptually a little bit better.
