  1. Just another example of the corruption that is the B1G
  2. Kind of shocking. Might it be that Jim is keeping everything down low because he's looking to move to the NFL in 2024? With all the belly aching from opposition I wouldn't blame him if he does leave.
  3. Luke Broderick is very underrated. I'm anxious to see what our staff is able to get from him. He's a 4 pitch guy and if Childress can improve his slider he could be very successful. Gotta keep the ball down though. He's a taller pitcher which often can result in less sink. Really, really like this young man.

    NFL 2023

If it's me making the decision and I have the opportunity to take any one of the above i'd take Penix and not think twice.
  5. A chance to equal our stride,
  6. Notice Mike Farrell didn't hash tag Desmond Howard though... So kind of the pot calling the kettle black.
  7. This whole thing stinks to high H3LL.... This conference, smh!!!
  8. My opinion regarding punishment: Hit the offenders where it hurts.. If the evidence exists that a team (or group of teams) violated the "fairness of the game" Hypothetical let's say Nebraska is the abuser of the fairness article: The first offense penalty is a portion of that game day payout taken from the abuser (Nebraska) and paid to the opponent. (Say 10% of what ever the game day payout winds up being) Stiff penalty but not severe. No other disciplinary action is taken by the B1G and if the offending team decides to take disciplinary action on their coach(s), so be it. Second offense becomes more severe and can include suspension of coach's as well as additional % in fines paid to the opponent. Third offense, head coach is suspended, internal investigation is done, significant increase in % in fines increase. However, in the current scenario with Michigan, it is simply not ethical to consider past years so, this would be their first and only offense.
  9. This class is pure Bolt is working overtime to ensure he has depth in the rotation and setup pitching. Success is built through the bully. Bolt and Company are working their tails off to build that success!! To ALL our new Huskers, Thank You and Your Families for the countless efforts taken to achieve. Thank You for choosing Dear Old Nebraska!! May your time here be both profitable to your development as adults and may your efforts through efforting achieve your highest goals!! GBR!!!
  10. lol, this is the B1G conference. The most crime ridden conference in all of sports. The only ones getting punished in this "anti-fairness" conference is those whom have gotten on the wrong side of the B1G's greed!!! Harbaugh pushed for more shared revenue for players and ever since that push he's been constantly scrutinized by this league's corrupt administrators. As for the "Bold" text, every fan of a B1G school knows how incompetent the B1G officials are and fairness is not a term the B1G desires. It's about $$$.$$ and Bowls to generate more revenue. Best example of that was the mythical fair catch in the Minny/Iowa game. That decision came from the top and the outcome was to ensure a team qualifying for post season play and/or a statement to Iowa administrators that it's time to replace the most tenured coach in the B1G!!! Fairness in the B1G is the most laughable concept in all of sports!!!!!!
  11. There so much wrong in this post. The context, the lack of respect, the name calling, the arrogance, the intent and everything in between. Just no.. I mean "Come On Man"!!
  12. What does any of the above have to do with Grant Brix? Take this transfer discussion to the appropriate thread please and thank you!!
  13. @hskrpwr13 I agree... If we go 3-1 to finish the season, (even 2-2) I'll be dancin. Win just 1 more and I'm celebrating with the young men that are giving everything they have to reach the goal we all want. GBR!!!
  14. This ... Brian Ferentz not expected to return for 2024 per Bleacher Report and ... per ON3 article
  15. @HuskerInLostWages Awesome analogy dude... I think we all can concur the HCMR acronym needs to end.
  16. @Mavric looking to jinx our lady's volleyball team with "Huskies vs Rutgers" title. Shame on you Mavric, Shame!!
  17. Umm... Minnesota cover-up of 4 football players sexually harassing a female student. (2017) Iowa covering up the racial discriminations for years Northwestern covering up what is essentially gang rape for years and don't forget, Nebraska "under Frost" violated NCAA rules for countable coaches, and Frost violated head coach responsibility rules resulting in very minimal restrictions/fines but regardless.. Truth is (and I honestly believe this) every team has violations but to compare Michigan's current scandal with say Northwestern's, yeah give me Harbaugh and Michigan's every day of the week.
  18. the battles we go through life,
  19. Seriously? Like @runningblind asked, why Purdue? I've always like watching Purdue, every year they knock someone off in much the same way Iowa State often does.
  20. That's fine, Rhule has said he wants guys that "want" to be a Husker. I'd rather have someone that is here for reasons other than NIL.
  21. As a child I can remember how at the first sign of snow falling we'd run outside, stick out our tongues and dance with joy. As an old man now I run out the door, nearly wet myself from the cold, hold my fist up and stick my tongue out to say "screw you snow" and go back inside with my tail tucked between my legs. My how our lives change as we age.. What once was celebration now becomes dread. :'(

Not for me! When I see the first frost/snowflakes I’m singing Hallelujah! Because all of the things I’m allergic to are DEAD and I can finally BREATHE! Ahhhhhh!

So, we can assume you'll never be a snow bird then?

      You got that right:)

  22. Dbacks could be on the verge of a 4 to 5 year run.. Young and Talented team. Can the organization keep them together or will the distraction of huge contracts break the team up in the coming years is the question. Rangers, the pitching was suspect all season especially the middle relief and yet somehow, that bullpen has pulled off a huge surprise. Honestly, when this world series is over (going 7 games) I think it will be one filled with a ton of "are you kidding me" moments. Time will tell for sure but I for one don't think this will be a "terrible" WS, in fact, quite the opposite imo. DBacks in 7
  23. Again, in the micro one could reasonably commit to saying that but we are not looking solely at stats but also wins & losses. With Satterfield last year he was the qb on a 8 win team. This year without Satterfield, well... to date 2 wins. What I'm trying to point out is this.. just win baby.. don't care if it's pretty or ugly, just win and honestly, I think we all agree, winning ugly is far better than losing pretty.
  24. Just a comparison of Spencer Rattler with Satterfield as his OC vs without. I'm thinking Spencer is missing his old coach.
