The good thing for us is, those temps shouldn't be an issue. Also, it's been a weird February here so our boys have had some good field practices... Hopefully that results in more consistency early.

BTN is a JOKE.. I don't have or use twitter for many reasons. One reason is I struggle controlling my rants and Twitter would get me into trouble. (sad but true I know) Someone that does use twitter and can control their impulsive natures might want to point this out to BTN on their twitter page.. When a person logs into BTN and scrolls down they get to this post (a link to click on things to follow).. you can hover the mouse over the image and an arrow lets you scroll left or right.. No where does it suggest anything about conference baseball but it does suggest Chicago Cubs and/or Detroit Tigers..

I'm sorry, did I miss your emoji? Seriously??? In what world, outside of SEC hypothesis would anyone think 4 is ok? There exists as of now 5 power conferences so if each of them get 2 each that allows 2 non-power 5 selections.. in the real world at most we'll only ever have 1 of the non-power 5 leaving 1 other at large which most likely and in most years will be Notre Dame. (deserving or not) ... So how can anyone out side of the narcissistic, bloviated SEC ever suggest 4? Very post indeed.

Curious if this rotation will remain. Especially with Bolt's enthusiasm in Bragg's fall ball and spring training. Hopefully KP has thicker skin this year and moves on when calls that should go his way don't. Also, McCarville excites me for several reasons but mostly because he's an experienced starter from a conference that had some solid competition. Really looking forward to this baseball season. Admittedly however, I am doing my best to convince myself that we will struggle early. Seems every time I get my hopes up with a Husker Men's program they quickly dash them. This time though it will be different..

@Huskball - Not calling you out because what I'm going to say is speculative and assumptive of your above post... In reading it I find I felt as though you were defending the B1G.. If that's the case I would like you to explain to us why IYO the B1G has yet to even post a single baseball article to date. No topics on the 2022 season at all. No coach interviews. No preseason poll discussions. No television schedules. No player interviews. No conference discussions.. nothing. To me, it disgusts me. Baseball, at least at our university is a self sustaining and profitable department. The conference has had very recent success at the highest stage (CWS) and has been reasonably well represented in post season play. All reasons, IMO, to show at least some interest in the sport but the conference remains mum and unapologetic in its lacking of interesting articles. Hence furthering my disgust with this conference and their "Only The Blue Bloods" mentality.

Find it hard to believe you're surprised by the lack of BTN interest. BTN has never showed any early baseball. They simply don't put any value on the sport. The B1G conference is most the same as indicated by the lack of articles on the conference website. In the B1G minds, sports ends at the conclusion of March Madness and resume in the fall when football camps start. B1G athletics disgust me. Always have, Always will... (not to change the subject but for those thinking Nebraska will win the west in football this year please keep in mind the one constant... officiating and bias)

Would really like to see another 3 game series against a top 40 foe or... a 4 game weekend mini tourney with at least 2 of the games against a top 40 team.. (Maybe 1 opponent each from the West Coast Conference and Big West Conference)

If I had my what if's answered they'd go like this: - CT for two years as starter - BP for 1 year as starter then be a first round draft pick - Harburg or Torres dual it out and start for 3 2 years yup thats my "what if"s" now to start praying

Love this post!! Also, I don't believe Frostie is gone if he doesn't have a .500 or better record next year either. I think Trev would agree with this post and I think the paycheck boosters are still on Frost's side. (At least most of them. I have a large booster that rents with me and he's pro SF.)

Awesome Season!!! That second set... ouch!! Nothing to hang our heads on. Wiscy is a very solid club and proved it. They had our number this year!! Give them credit, they earned it. Still, these ladies, just WOW!!! Incredible heart, Incredible determination, Incredible Season!!
