I have to be honest I did not grow up in Nebraska, and the only reason I am a Husker fan is because my son is on the football team. I have never been to a game prior to last season. But the Michigan State game last year was the funnest for me. I am looking forward to a great season.

So it looks like Belt and Mazour are the top 2 backs on the red(starters). And Bradley and Bryant are on the white(backups).

His plea was "not guilty"

Held and Walters both kind of hinted last week that there may be some off the field issues.

I hope they agree to a misdemeanor and he does some community service. He needs to learn from this though or it will not end well.

Our starters should get us to the Big Ten West champs. Our backups might lose to Rutgers.

I feel we stack up talent wise with the 25th to 10th ranked teams at most positions. Wr is not as good as the other top 25 teams. RB is scary, I'm not confident that Mills and Johnson can just come in and be the best two backs. However the most important position is QB and we are in the top 5 there so I like it.

Contrary to what many people want to believe, the competition between Gebbia and Martinez really was down to the final week. Gebbia can do 95% of what Martinez does. However AM was a freshman and he was a Frost recruit. Fortunately I feel the coaches made the right choice.

Im telling you with 100% certainty.....he is not hitting anybody. He does not play during practice. He will not play Saturday.

Maybe hitting the foam pads.....but not in real plays

A plea is either "Im guilty" or "Im not guilty" . Nobody knows if there has been a deal made.

It just seems to take the wr a bit longer....Jamie Nance will be this years disappointment. But next year he will get it. It takes time.

Whats so funny? One thing I have noticed is how difficult it is for freshman to come in and play at a fast pace. Now that Hunt knows where he is going on every play he is looking really good. He does seem to drop more balls than I would like, but that should get better with experience. Hunt, Woodyard and Williams will look like different receivers this year.

At this time he is built more like Garrett Nelson who plays outside linebacker than any of the inside backers.

Wandale is in with Jones....could be best rb, but runs most plays with receivers.

This is what the running back room looks like right now. #1 Mo...questionable with legal stuff. #2 Wyatt Mazour.....hurt his hip prior to spring practice, been limited but I expect him to play Saturday. #3 Brody Belt....quick, knows the offense good reciever, been making plays this spring vs #1 defense. #4 Miles Jones....would be 2nd back, but mostly plays wr. Hes looked good in practice. #5 J. Bradley...looks confused on offense and doesnt hit the hole like he should. #6 Austin Hemphill...walk on fullback. #7 Moses Bryant...just moved to rb, has to be told before every play where to go. Dont expect many reps during spring game. #8/#9 Roth brothers...both walk on fullbacks.

Damion Jackson is a great story. Right now he is playing DE. He is probably the 4th or 5th DE on the right side of the Defense. He also is the backup long snapper and backup protector on the punt team. He will see the field, but likely on special teams.

Jurgens reinjured his foot in January. He did not participate in full contact drills for the first two weeks of spring football.

Btw...Moses Bryant asked the coaches to move to running back when they returned from spring break.
