  1. GOOD GOD PLEASE PUT IN VEDRAL!!! We should be up by 4 scores...
  2. Swing passes are a core part of frosts offense. I wouldn't call it cute... he is well aware of how poor our blocking is between the tackles so he's working the perimeter a lot. Again, if the calls are executed, people would be praising the play calls.
  3. If they were executed properly, we'd be up 21-0 right now
  4. I've never been much of a fan of lebron, but i can acknowledge he's the biggest athletic mismatch in the history of the league, maybe aside from Shaq
  5. I'm always enamored at how much both parties obsess about the debt when the other party is in office but then disregard it when their party has office...
  6. Win the turnover battle No false starts Mills 15+ carries Defense hold for FGs not TDs No special teams errors Win the field position battle
  7. NU -45 Turdue - 28 Rush -275 Pass - 280
  8. I used to watch Crowder, and I still tune in to his Change My Mind segments because I enjoy seeing/hearing people who disagree sit down and have an amicable conversation. Sometimes he still gets screamed at, but that's the nature of the political divide we're living in right now. The main reason I don't watch his content much is because his show is what I'd consider "outrage politics" where the main result is getting people bent out of shape rather than being informative. It's not as bad as mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC, Fox, etc) but it's close
  9. What happens if we lose to Purdue? We'll be 4-5 and a long shot to make a bowl game...
  10. Like i said, it's tough to get a rhythm and feel for the game when you don't get to play much. That's my entire contention is that he rode the pine too much. I bring up the Wisconsin game, you say it was just a good game for him, then mention Penn state as an example of when he didn't do good... i just skimmed the first half vs PSU and he got like 4 touches the whole 1st half, wilbon who they played most of the half hadn't run very well, and boom, we're down 35-7, and I'm guessing wilbon boosted his ypc average significantly after the game was already decided... so again, stats are great all things being equal, but they don't tell the whole story. You have to actually use your eyes and dig into WHY the stats look the way they do.
  11. So your contention is that Wilbon was a better RB than ozigbo in 2017?... idc who the coaches put in first - that's my whole point in saying Devine was our best RB (other than Bryant) but he didn't see the field enough. Btw, wilbon also struggled with sticking his foot in the ground and getting upfield. I'll take a peek at those games for sure
  12. You guys definitely made me question my memory, so i am looking at the offensive drives against Wisconsin in '17, and what I'm seeing is ozigbo not having much running room but consistently running over defenders and keeping the offense on schedule. He definitely took it to a different level his Sr year, but he was always a quality RB
  13. My original statement was that i believe he was the best RB on our roster his entire career. I kind of forgot about Tre Bryant - he definitely looked special in the short stint that we got to watch him tote the rock. There's an argument to be made for Terrell Newby in 2016, but since we're talking about guys getting tackled easily... he sure did.
  14. Ameer Abdullah sure made our line look better than they were
  15. Usually those go hand in hand with the stats but stats don't tell the whole story. Who was a better RB in 2017 on our roster besides Tre Bryant who got hurt a couple games in?
  16. I'm not a big stats guy. There are a ton of factors that go into stats like YPC so stats don't tell the whole story. Ozigbo was a guy who needed to get into a flow, and he got better and better as the game went along. Just the extra 1-2 yds he picked up constantly would have been of enormous impact to the offense had he been used properly.
  17. I would definitely disagree with that. Do you remember the bowl his freshman year against UCLA? He looked like the next great back at Nebraska. Then he inexplicably was overlooked for 2+ years. I never was a fan of Newby as a RB, although I'll say he improved a lot his senior year - but Ozigbo was the better back.
  18. I'm with you on this. That's why i always thought Ziggy stardust was our best back literally the entire time he was here. He fell forward almost every time he carried the ball. Then the truly special backs like Saquon Barkley, Adrian Peterson, Bo Jackson, etc are big strong backs but also are incredibly quick and agile.
