Yup, I think offensively we have turned a bit of a corner were dudes are starting to show play potential from start to finish....just need a little more trust in that. But I also get the, "stay on course" approach. That's the thing here, our staff has yet to get to a "trust" phase with players...vicious cycle

Agree, we see top level QB's throw jump balls all the time...ncaa or nfl...if he is throwing it up, not into constant double coverage, I will take that...those are the things (stretching the field) which we have been missing

2 things come to mind for me. 1) Frost playbook has yet to evolve where it compliments receivers that can create separation off the line. 2) see #1 We got some legit WR right now, will be interesting the rest of the year...I can see some fireworks coming from this group

I am hoping the stretching of the field with our WR continue. I liked the chip that the OL played with today, obviously they are not at the point where they can play fired up and not commit mistakes. Desperately need an edge rusher, 44 is not bad but he gets locked up a lot. Liked 14, ran with some steam at points. All in all, it's far more than I expected but they NEED to follow it up against MSU...otherwise it's just an abnormality

I don't really know what to tell ya bud...you seem really focused on on acknowledging things a basic offense should not do in general "stupid penalties" and "turnovers" as something that should get a birthday cake each week. I guess at the end of the day, I will bake em a cake for that...yay, progress!!!! In reality all I am saying is the D is making consistent progress in cohesion, all position groups are improving within the unit...the O is not doing that...they have positives in a areas, but no sustained consistency, which is what we are seeing with the D, in the same time frame

You didn't really READ my post, did you? I basically said, our offense has sprinkles of growth but until the OL starts matching those sprinkles as a group our Offense will not get better. Our D, POSITIONALLY, has gotten better, there in our D has as a unit gotten better. Our Offense is not doing that across the board as a UNIT.
