If Trump would have called to overthrow the government you can bet that the state run media would be playing a clip of it non-stop, but instead of playing his speech, they're telling you what to think. That same state run media also lied in saying that left-wing agitators were not present, yet we now know that at least one ocBLM/facistfa insurrectionist was arrested. We also know now that this breach of the capitol was pre-planned and started before Trump's speech concluded. Whether these people allowed to breach the capitol due to incompetence or if this was set should be investigated. If anyone is responsible for inciting violence or insurrection it would be the Nasty Pelosis, Pressleys, Ilhans, Cortezes, Schumers, Waterss, Warnocks, etc. I can't wait for some of these pieces of excrement to be held responsible for their hateful, evil behavior. Meaningless. I might say that these sham impeachments had meaning if the left hasn't been calling for Trump to be impeached since election night 2016. This has been a 4 year, 3 month rolling coupe against a duly elected President and more importantly the American people. These sham impeachments are simply a warning to any outsider who dares to infiltrate and expose the swamp saying: "If we don't like you, we will stop at nothing to ruin you and your family." I don't know which is more sad, that a President who was sham-peached twice did more good for the country in his 4 years than an incompetent President did in his 4 years and an evil president did in his 8 years combined. Or that there is seemingly a large group of people who live in the US that don't love this county or believe in it's greatness, and they revel in the fact that shortly they will be able to return this country to mediocrity.

Quick math, in the 90 year period from 1869-1959 Nebraska had zero claimed National Championships and average less than 1 win per year more than each of those 3 programs. Imo, this staff said that they don't correct errors in practice. They want to go fast in practice and make the corrections in the meeting room. I think the staff needs to rethink their handling of errors committed by their players.

How much have those 900 wins and 30 years of excellence helped since 2001? The fact of the matter is at this time we would be lucky to be Iowa or NW. This nonsense that a portion of our fan base spews about "not being a training ground for coaches" or "needing experienced P5 coordinators" isn't going to happen. I forget the exact stat, but essentially Nebraska is the state with the lowest population to have produced a Division 1 National Champion in either football or men's basketball. And those 5 NCs came in a 26 year stretch. That is an outlier, an anomaly. Outside of that stretch Nebraska hasn't been any different than Iowa or a number programs that our fans like to say are mediocre. And we've been looking up at the Iowas and NWs since we entered the B1G.

Good post. I don't get all of the hate for Austin. Sure the OL hasn't been great, but against Rutgers we started 3 freshman, a RS sophomore, and a 5th year senior who might be the worst of the starting bunch. At some point, Nebraska fans will need to realize that it's not the 70's- 90's anymore. Those years were an anomaly, lightning in a bottle. 2 HoF HCs. And college football is so much different than it was 25 years ago. We aren't a destination job. We are Iowa, NW, and Purdue.
