  1. Looks like Mickey came home and found his wife with her personal trainer. In a not .. training situation.
  2. Sadly true. As said before, social media.. and news media in my opinion fans the flames of perceived guilt.
  3. ‘Yes. The kids. And it ripples out to all they are close to. We think we feel badly seeing this, we feel nothing like the family feels and is about to go through.
  4. One thing these days about startling allegations is that they seem to spell guilt with the public long before a trial of innocence before proven guilty. Yes, he was arrested. We know very little else at this point.
  5. https://www.wowt.com/2022/11/30/mickey-joseph-arrested-wednesday-lincoln/
  6. When they were feared as The Blackshirts, in another age, it made sense. Now the Huskers’ D is far from being feared around the conference, let alone around the country, so those black shirts are only a reward for making first string. I think the whole thing could be elevated back to it’s used to be by holding it all back until we show the world something as to Husker D. Not just one or three good games.
  7. This guy is beginning to remind me of Howard Dean.
  8. We'll probably win more than 4 games next year.
  9. I've got 72 mil saying it's that Rhule guy.
  10. Well, truth be told, truly pervious coaches eventually end up somewhere in Oregon. Clackamas, Columbia Gorge CC, etc.
  11. I'm not so sure we're going to see any of the outgoing staff here when Rhule gets his guys in. Maybe.. but doubts are setting in.
  12. Well, now that it's a done deal, he's talked a bit on Game Day, has a pretty good spiel, I am with him and his program. GBR! Oops, I said that after the Scott Frost confirmation of hire. Riley, too. Sorry if I jinxed you, Matt.
  13. Hopefully to deny the Nebraska rumors.
  14. I'm sure Matt Rhule would be superior to Scott Frost as a Big Ten school HC, who wouldn't be? But I think he's a waste of money when we already have an impassioned coach who knows what's up and is chomping at the bit to recruit and get going on the next season. It doesn't get any better than that, contrary to hype.
  15. I'm talking about the Iowa game last night. The one with Iowa making the mistakes that enabled us to win, while otherwise that same team at that same stadium on that same day, would have beaten us as we would have found a way to lose to them, to Iowa. Last night. Iowa. Last night. The Iowa game. 25 November 2022. Last night (as I type this).
  16. I loved the Defense's effort. I saw things in that game that spelled desire and fire. Those two things were still spotty, but far more per series and across more players than in previous games this season. I credit the players themselves, with a big high five to Coach Mickey, too. But those guys out there pounded away at the Iowa O-line time and time again. Good stuff. Let that film be a lesson to the D group next year.
  17. There was a time when we'd have lost that same game with the other team making those same mistakes; we'd have found a way to lose it. Not this time.
  18. I agree; they did screw themselves on several occasions. In other words, they acted more like Nebraska than Nebraska did. Thus the Nebraska win.
  19. Man. Some are hanging their hat on this guy already. We've seen his coaching record, and heard some of his words. Also some of his detractors. The detractors might be thinking about our failures with these guys fresh out of the NFL. I'm thinking about that some, but mostly that Rhule has no true incentive to do all that's necessary to start from basically below ground up at this place called Nebraska football. It's a perceived signature hire, but perceptions are often false. Like Frost was. This might just be desperation on Trev Alberts part given various negatives out there of taking a job here among those we've seen listed.
  20. Trev’s hiring a fired has been. Carolina was willing to give him 40 million dollars to clear out after not being able to "get over the losing hump." WTF?
  21. I honestly thought you were describing what led up to a stroke. Migraine's are bad enough I hear, but that would have been much worse of course. That Colorado loss didn't give me a headache but it did continue to set the stage for what was to transpire here for the next few years looking back. Going in there talking about revenge this and redemption that.. yeah, right. We were trashed by coaches long before Frost, but in that first rained out game at home we honestly witnessed an encapsulated version of what a waste of time and money he turned out to be for Nebraska.
