As long as we're in it, I don't really care where the game is. Plus I wasn't really impressed with what I saw of Chicago when I went there.

First year of CGD. I just remember 2006 and 2007. Both of those were the 7:00 USC games. We can fit 86,000 fans inside the stadium, how is there not enough room? I think in 2007 it was inside the stadium. Found this pic, which may or may not be taken inside. Kind of looks like they are in. They were inside the stadium in 2007. There is YouTube evidence for that. I think people tossed a couple ears of corn at Corso when he put on the Trojan "armor"

i personally prefer night games just because i enjoy a day of tail gating before kickoff. they also obviously help the crowd/atmosphere be more electric and allow for more recruits to make it. still, over all that, i'd rather have the prestige and coverage of an 11:00 ABC game with the Game Day crew on location than be on ESPN2 at night. this game is going to be a showcase game and i do not want it hidden away on "the deuce". hopefully there's something to the idea that ABC will move the race, but I really, really doubt NASCAR would be amenable to that. I thought all College Gameday games are at night? I cannot ever recall a early game getting the gameday crew.....Am I wrong? RRR's are day games

It's always been one of those games where you check the score on occasion but there's always something else going on that's more important

i like ubben's point, which i think is this, in the big 12 rrr will reign king, but nationally, after the big 12 championship (viewed by many) and then the realignment drama, the NU-TU game will be a bigger draw and better storyline. +1 Texas and OU could both be 0-4 and the RRR is still going to be a big rivalry game for both of those teams, but there will a lot more national eyeballs on NU/UT this fall

Well we ended up no going to the fights. We did see Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Pellegrino in the lobby at the MGM. I also went to The Situations's birthday party at some club on Sunday
