so we're never gonna see the memorial stadium expansion in a video game

I'd say as soon as at least the conferences give them the legal go-ahead again the game is back in play. There's nothing stopping them from making a generic game with mod options, but clearly they don't think it will sell.

Side note, I agree EA's monopoly in this area to date has been bad for sports games.

It's a shame. I know they never change and that objectively they're not great games but I bought and play them religiously. Sucks.
