This was a long time ago but does anyone remember who it was that asked? Was it an AP reporter?

I think this is what I heard. The social aspect. It allows the kid to enjoy playing more and less likely to burnout.

I once heard an argument on why you should just let your freshman play freshman ball, even if he's good enough to play at a higher level. I can't remember where I heard this debate. But the benefits were more than just "playing time". It was more about overall development and enjoyment of the game. Does anyone know of this?

The title of this topic is misleading. I thought "Fargo Fans" were fans of the movie Fargo by the Cohen Brothers.

6th grade highlights.

The idea of going to Kinnick is just more appealing than going to Jack Trice, or either of those Kansas stadiums. The only stadium I really wanted to see in the Big XII was Kyle Field. Beyond that, meh. Oklahoma's stadium (lol Gaylord) would be cool to see just from a historical standpoint. It's the place where the Game of the Century went down. But all the big time stadiums in the Big Ten are just more appealing to me. If I get a chance to go to Madison, Ann Arbor, Happy Valley, or Columbus for a game, I'm there. I always wanted to see Okie State's stadium You still can. Well, until the big one Who was "Nebraska Stunned" by?

The politics aside, I miss the easy road trips. I miss the gameday atmospheres at K-State and at Mizzou. I miss the Thursday night games. I miss NIGHT games period. I miss our rivalries. I'm not liking the "country club" feel of the B1G.
