  1. Yep. Kavanaugh should be calling for a full FBI investigation into these allegations. The fact that neither he nor the Republicans want to take that action speaks much louder than their words.
  2. Lost in Translation was definitely his best dramatic role. Best comedy is probably Stripes but easily could be Caddyshack, Scrooged, Ghostbusters, or Groundhog's Day.
  3. Come on Kavanaugh/Trump supporters, even you have to eventually realize this guy's a liar and doesn't deserve the honor of being on the Supreme Court. There's tons of other judges you agree with politically, why continue to defend this one?
  4. Really? I seem to remember almost the same things being said in Riley's first season. If this was Frost's third season, then I think you'd have a stronger argument.
  5. Treason is very narrowly defined as giving aid to the enemy, so I don't thinkTrump can be charged with treason.
  6. Propaganda 101 Putting out a fake story to give cover to the other terrible news under your admin - is anyone ok with this?
  7. That means the Republicans knew about it before they claim they did, which is what I said originally. Feinstein should be held to account for concealing the information, and Grassley and the other Repubs who knew should be held to account for trying to rush through the hearings instead of letting the facts come out.
  8. I'm talking about the letter in support of Kavanagh signed by 65 women, which came from the Republicans so Feinstein wouldn't have ever had it. The Republicans claimed they created that letter and got all those signatures in 24 hours. Now that seems extremely unlikely, but if it's like you're suggesting that the letter was created earlier in case of needing to support his integrity, then why is it only signed by women and why only women that knew him in highschool? Seems that the Repubs knew about this already.
  9. This sounds a lot like what I thought of UCF in Frost's first season there. I just think it's going to take time.
  10. How the hell did the Republicans get a letter and 65 signatures in the 24 hours between the story getting out and the letter being put out? Seems like Feinstein wasn't the only politician sitting on the evidence. The whole lot of them should be investigated. Other people having heard about it 35 years ago lends credence to the victim's claims regardless of how the information got out.
  11. What should being 17 get you a free pass for? Sexual assault? Child molestation? Murder?
  12. Frost never said he could have played - just that he looked good during warmups. And he said they'd make the best decision for both AM and the team with the long-term outlook in mind. Nothing contradicting or frustrating about what Frost is saying.
  13. I think it's just part of a first year transition. There's only so much time to practice and learn everything, so special teams usually gets the short end of the stick.
  14. Not happening. Right after Gebbia left, Vedral said there wasn't anything they could seek a waiver for.
  15. Frost said at the PC today that the free blitzer was supposed to take the RB on that second play. So it was Reed that made the mistake there.
  16. I heard/read somewhere that Manafort mentioned taking the plea deal to get protection for his family, which at the time I thought was overly dramatic, but I wasn't thinking of the Russians.
  17. FYI, ships are generally safer at sea than in port for large storms like hurricanes. I'm not sure what else I can say about this. The image of all the ships "near" hurricane Maria in my last post should be all the evidence needed to prove my point that ships can maneuver around hurricanes. As far as whether it takes more time to deliver disaster relief with trucks vs ships, keep in mind that each ship holds thousands of containers (modern cargo ships carry 4,000 - 18,000 containers), each of which is equivalent to a single truck. I think the notion that ships are some impediment to delivering supplies after a hurricane isn't true (or perhaps more accurate to say it's a minor impediment and if that's what you mean "in small part" then we're in agreement) at least compared to trucking in supplies on the mainland. I think the larger issue of getting supplies delivered on either the island or the mainland is actually the roads. If they're damaged, flooded, blocked, bridges out, etc., then it's much harder to get supplies where they need to be and that affects the mainland and the island equally. Although you could make the case that since PR is mountainous and restricted by ocean, there may not be that many routes to get around blockages like there would be on the mainland, but that's after the ships have arrived.
  18. Combination of missing the first game, Colorado and Troy are good teams, Nebraska is lacking some talent but talented depth is really lacking, bad luck (mostly AM getting hurt), and of course all the ridiculous errors and mistakes.
  19. Poor attempt at dodging. Here's an entire article about it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/politics/wp/2017/09/26/the-very-big-ocean-between-here-and-puerto-rico-is-not-a-perfect-excuse-for-a-lack-of-aid/?utm_term=.25df43dbf82d
