  1. Sorry, wasn't intending to slag on you. I just think Saban's era is chock full of scuzzy things he's done at the program level that's been embraced by the SEC (until the NCAA prohibited it). Playing a QB in the late stages of a failed campaign that's leaving for the draft...unless the kid signed off on it, that's low as well.
  2. I read that too. And it's okay--one of the perks of working from home. EDIT: Apparently the server got excited and posted this same message four times over...
  3. Really? That's the epitome of classlessness? So not forcing off underperforming recruits (before it was prohibited by NCAA) to the point of having an entire extra recruiting class every four years, SEC bagmen (before paying recruits was okay), and the other stuff was acceptable? Honestly, this era of SEC "dominance" should have a big fat asterisk next to it, not unlike the Home Run records in the 90s. Because it's artificial AF. Yup. Spurier had to eat soooooooo much crow after that game. Until they won the NC the following year. What's funny is that the 96 Florida team won the NC the year after we boat raced them, and the 98 Tennessee team won the NC a year after we boat raced them.
  4. Well, this preseason ranking list get was certainly unexpected and yet completely worthless. Also if Harbaugh takes a NFL job, I expect a *sharp* drop off in Michigan. Not sure they’re worth calling out on our schedule at this point.
  5. It appears Busch was Plan A from the jump--the move happened right after his former contract with LSU expired--and Sean Snyder was Plan B. So to say that there was no Plan A or B seems to be more than a little willfully myopic.
  6. Um, if Nelson was using helper monkeys against the opposing tackles quite a bit last season, then we *may* have multiple, bigger issues to deal with. The phrase I believe you meant is 'mano a mano' which means "hand to hand". "Mono" is Monkey and "y" means "and" in Spanish.
  7. Where the lightning comes with Tornadoes, Power Outages, and heaping amounts of herp-a-derp? ...probably not the best choice they could have made, to say the least.
  8. Can we please just condense the men's basketball season into a singular thread and make separate threads for each of the Women's games going forward?
  9. This guy has a certain Flair about him, to be sure. Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Well, it started when an actor from California got a bunch of Bible thumpers together...
  10. It never went away. There were just more pressing concerns.
  11. For them to grasp this, it would require them to grasp the concept of empathy and non-selfish thought. That isn't happening anytime soon.
  12. @Mavric hey, do we have anything of this sort? Because let's face it--some of us aren't getting any younger.
  13. Sean Snyder has been the not-so-subtle hint for the Special Teams Coordinator position for months now. Frankly, I'm good with either him or Busch. But we need a dedicated Special Teams Coordinator, ASAP.
  14. Wonder if we have to worry about Raiola leaving...
  15. Good. Let's go Darwin. COVID already has an award--the Herman Cain Awards on Reddit. I highly suggest folks take a browse through some of its recipients, including some famous weightlifters, athletes, and politicians that *almost* won the award and thankfully saw the light.
  16. Yeah, the Post was deleted by Twitter. Not exactly a ringing endorsement to begin with…
  17. Because untreated mental illness and cult-like brainwashing is a hell of a thing to overcome. Oh, and there's substantial profit in keeping the (willfully) ignorant plied. Great find, and thanks. I'll say it before, and I'll say it again--at this point, if you choose to not be vaccinated and can be vaccinated, people shouldn't be admitted to a hospital bed or receive treatment. They can go home and try their luck with horse paste and drinking bleach at this point--I have zero sympathy for these Herman Cain wannabes. Maybe when they start seeing their colleagues die off due to their (willful) ignorance, they'll wisen up, get vaccinated, and quit being morons (about COVID).
  18. Like firing a coach that goes 8-3, or firing a coach that goes 9-3, or fir--alright, I'll stop here too.
  19. To be fair, Northwestern typically isn't down (especially 1-8 down) in consecutive years, so I expect them to be better next year. And Indiana should be markedly better too, so I wouldn't expect their 2021 selves to show back up. See, unlike at Nebraska, some programs can build on failures and learn how to be succes--alright, I'll stop.
  20. Something tells me the OP is drinking Scotch with a splash of Kool-Aid, and not the other way around. And I'll believe it when I see it. Hopefully we make progress and break out of this cycle. But we're missing some key pieces on both the O and D lines, plus at QB (unless Smothers has a breakout Spring), to be full-bore optimistic at this point.
  21. And the Steel/Aluminum tariffs were ham-fisted and poorly implemented back in 2020 when they went into effect. Mix with COVID and it's been a 1-2 punch for industry as a whole. Really wish they would have done quotas for tariffs to give the domestic side time to ramp back up instead of blanket tariffs.
  22. And by extension, they're picking us to win the B1G--no other B1G teams cracked their Top 25.
