  1. The list is quite long. Some is listed but some info comes from posters here that have inside knowledge. 2. I updated some links on why we never were going to get Lache Seatrunk, very interesting stuff. Thank street agent Will Lyles.

  3. What are they saying? There are whispers that he might be involved with sports agents already. Uh oh! Man, couple that with Oregon's problems as it is. Any chance there are just bitter Texas fans out there that are ticked the top rated RB from their backyard left them? Or are these pretty legit sources? I loved the synopsis of him at Rivals too: "Has a chance to be the next Reggie Bush in college." (<~ Free Info) In more ways than just athletic ability. Just Texas posters who had quite a bit of info about everything else. They also said that the group of 2011 backs is the best crop out of Texas since AP came through. For reference: Sims, Brown, Green. Lache Seastrunk was on the Lemming Report and said he thinks he can win the heisman next year. Oregon??? Does he know the freshman back name LM James had over 1400 yards rushing and will be the No 1 back there for two more years? You never know I guess. Lucky had 1,000 yards both rushing and recieving one year and was third string the next. Here is some new info on why we never really were in on this kid. Will Lyles the street agent from Texas got 25k from Oregon to steer Lache to Oregon. I will post a few links to show what I have found. http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/Was-Lache-Seastrunks-journey-from-Texas-to-Oregon-divinely-inspired-031211 Thayer Evans today with an article about Lache and Lyles. http://msn.foxsports.com/collegefootball/story/Is-reputed-street-agent-Will-Lyles-college-footballs-biggest-danger-031211 NCAA is on the trail of this street agent. http://memphisroar.com/2010/01/featured-column-top-rb-seastrunk-has-a-new-school-under-consideration/ Makes sense now why Lache added Memphis to his top 5. Lyles was getting paid as a street agent behind the scenes.
  4. Well said. He is a copy response about Tressel on a SbB article. Guys name is Chris and I agree 1 million percent with him. By Chris If you actually listened to the news conference you heard some very disturbing comments by the athletic director and University president. Both stated categorically Tressel would not loose his job and there NEVER was any consideration to fire him. How can these men make this statement before they had ever completed any investigation? They repeatedly mentioned his body of work, which in their minds means his win - loss record at OSU. What it should have meant was the rules violations from the Clarett revelations after their National Championship game, Troy Smith problems, or maybe his failure to report violations at Youngstown State. I am really disappointed in the OSU president and athletic director for not taking the morally correct action. Tressel’s contract stated explicitly he must report any potential violations of NCAA rules by his players immediately to the University administration (which he obliviously did not do) or be terminated from coaching the football team. This proves to many of us that winning, no matter what you do, is all that matters in collegiate sports. This is so sad!
  5. Over/under 14 I bet Bo would have to fight off the brood of stoop' for that gig.... Over 5001.
  6. Tressel lied to the NCAA it appears. Doesn't the NCAA frown on that? He should be fired. He tried to cover this up from the start. Fire him!!!!

  7. I say Carnes, Martinez, Turner and Green 4th. Is Martinez moving to RB??? Someone emailed that to me but I hadn't read that before, so I am not sure.
  8. Carnes is the starter in the fall!!!

  10. NU was able to win the first half of the season against much weaker teams and the inability of the NU to throw the ball didn't show it's ugly head. Once the defensive teams started to show up on the schedule, NU was not able to mount much of an offense. Taylor had one really good passing game and that was against OSU, which isn't a good defensive team. The last few games it was clear that Taylor wasn't allowed to scramble and make things happen. NU's offense was too predictable. When NU had to throw the quality and accuracy of QB's was hidious. I watched in horror as simple 5 to 10 yards routes were overthrown. When Cody would come in to replace an ineffective Taylor, he would throw 60 mph lazers at WR's 15 to 20 yards downfield. Go back and watch some tape. The touch that Green has is not pretty. It doesn't belong on a top 5 D1 program. After watching the bowl season, it was reconfirmed that NU QB situation has been horrible for a while and we need some new blood. Most of the teams that were bowl eligible had a QB that could throw and complete passes with accuracy. NU really doesn't. If Cody emerges as the starter, NU has a lot of issues going forward. I hope Brion starts next year. Taylor averaged about 10 completions per game. Blaine G averaged 23 completions per game. Stat line for Cody in the bowl game. BRIDGEPOINT EDUCATION HOLIDAY BOWL @Washington L 19-7 3 12 45 25.0 17 0 0 56.50 3 -2 -0.7 1 0 3 for 12 and 45 yards. Not going to get er done.
  11. If I see you around town, I will attack.
  12. I can't believe the Clippers are happy that Griffin put his career in jeopardy with the arm stuffing dunk. Not too smart.

  13. Cue the call for Brion Carnes. Unless Brion regresses he is going to kill at this. This why I call him the darkhouse to take over the QB spot real soon. Look at his HS vids and he is sick at this.
  14. My link I like hearing this. This sounds more like the spread option attack of Oregon or Michigan. The note that he's been promised he won't be redshirting - does that mean that if he ends up on campus, he'll get serious playing time at QB, or that they'll try to get him on the field somewhere else? It's fun to think about ways of getting Martinez, Starling, Turner, Rex and Aaron Green all on the field at the same time... "When coach Pelini was here, he did talk about that a tiny bit. He said that instead of drop-back passes, they planned to do more rollouts. If you look at the tape on Brion Carnes and Jamal Turner and even Bubba, this is exactly, what they do well. I know Martinez is fast but he is not known for throwing on the run. So I think Brion, Jamal and Bubba will give Taylor a run for his money in terms of being the starter at NU. Bubba is a big question mark but Brion and Jamal are good at the rollout passing technique.

  17. Aaron Rogers has a chance to show the world we are over B Favre. Go Packers!!!

  18. Jamal Turner will play in the first game as a true freshmen this Sept. He will have the most TD's for this freshmen class.

  22. Great news Architect. I don't know who you are but it is cool having an inside look at what is going on with CJ. I think CJ has a chance to win a MNC while at NU in the next four years.
