I disagree. I would love for every player on our team to have God as their #1 priority. If it hurts the team then no I don't. I want quality citizens on the team and you don't have to believe in God to be one of those. You are right and I don't think there is anything wrong with that. However, I personally want quality citizens as well, but I want them to have personal relationships with God before anything else.

LOL, explosions is like THE most used band for football highlights. By the way if you want an EPIC sports vid.. feast on this gem... I understand your point and it is well taken, but if I were to look through 50 football highlights on youtube I bet the vast majority of them would all be set to hard rock or hip hop

Apples and oranges, and even if they were both apples, they have such counterbalancing strengths/weaknesses and stats that it's impossible to decide. Frazier played in three and won two national championships (Tebow has won two, could win three, as well as a Heisman). Tebow owns Frazier in statistics, Tommie never had very good stats. Tommie was considered a running quarterback, whereas Tebow is considered a dual threat (he won't really make you miss or break off long runs, but he is good for 5+ yards any play). Tommie was unable to play most of the '94 season, and also didn't play in the second half of a lot of games because we would always kill teams so badly (but maybe that just means that he had better talent around him, and he himself wasn't that great). So many things that there aren't answers to, so why bother?

How about something a little less traditional, like maybe Explosions in the Sky (band that did all the Friday Night Lights stuff)? I think something instrumental would be awesome, especially if the song had a big climax

Well consider me impressed, I really thought they University would refuse to make any sort of site like this because of program pride or something similair. Good for them.

What were his comments? Isn't Gottlieb the guy who called Cookie Miller a punk last year? Yes, he did call Cookie a punk after he made an aggressive play in trying to take the ball away from Pretty Boy Sharon Collins, but calling him a punk wasnt the half of it. When teh Devaney crowd continued to applaud Cookie, Gottlieb proceeded to disapprove saying someting along the lines of, and this is not an exact quote, 'Nebraska is known for having great fans but when their team is behind and the fire alarm goes off, they become very dirty and classless' and had some other negative things to say as well. I just thought what nerve to say someting like that, I think him and Chase Daniel outta get together and go bowling together. It's just like there's some that are jealous of our rep and are trying to ruin it. Sounds like cognitive dissonance to me, I thought it was quite a punk play by Cookie as well, and completely meditated and pointless.

I understand that Manning was second and Leaf was 3rd (and hey, Moss was 4th). More of a joke, considering how great Leaf's NFL career/life after football has been...anyone for some Adderall? You are not getting it either, the Heisman is for the best college player, not the player with the best pro potential.

Finally a LEGITIMATE suh site. Edit: I think this is University made, or at least someone involved with the university....not exactly easy to get ahold of HD video footage without broadcast graphics, plus the site theme looks very similair.

My opinion is that his biggest mistake was not understanding what Nebraska football was about, which I think was more Pedersen's mistake than Callahan's.
