  1. Another good sign is that Asante finally didnt drop an interception
  2. I agree with u that Omigie looks like a really good prospect & I really want him 2 commit 2 us. But after losing Swift & Peterson, Kinnie should be able to play immediately. Plus, landing Kinnie could help us with Jason Pierre-Paul, who I really want as well. IMO we should take Omigie and Kinnie & be done with receiver for the year, unless we pull off a recruiting miracle & land Orson Charles.
  3. I get what ur saying but all that matters is how Nebraska & Texas Tech played on that given day, not any other. Texas Tech couldnt stop Nebraska's offense at all in the 4th so when Tech missed that extra point I thought we were going 2 win for sure.
  4. The only 1 of those guys I'll complain about is Terrance Nunn
  5. I'd rather play Florida State than Clemson...
  6. IMO no chance at Oku, good chance at Giles, & if we dont land Giles we'll get McBurse
  7. The talking heads at ESPN are a joke...no one should ever take anything they say seriously.
  8. Then you don't understand defensive schemes. Yeah, I dont understand defensive schemes. But I do understand what I see when watching football games. Murillo was covering Crabtree during that play, then for whatever reason stopped covering, next thing you know Harrell throws to Crabtree, touchdown...
  9. I didnt really care what our record was this year, I just wanted to win the North (which we really shouldve won, considering we shouldve beat TTech). Other than getting humiliated by Missouri at home 52-17 (wasnt expecting that), I'm happy with the way Nebraska has been playing.
  10. Since when do stats tell how good a CB is? You do realize what Murillo did to a guy like Crabtree, correct? Two of the only big plays Crabtree got was from a blown coverage by Asante and a screen play. That will never show up in a stat line. Murillo has did things like that all year. If you hold a WR to limited catches, how is that going to show up on a tackle sheet stat line? Look at guys like Deion Sanders. A lockdown corner who rarely got picked on and it did not allow his stat sheet to fill up. Sanders had only 4 NFL seasons where he had 40+ tackles and he had 8 NFL seasons where he had 3 or less INTs. If a CB under performs, you will see his name called out quite a bit during a game. You will see his man beating him quite often and you will see it filling up your TV screen. That has not been the case with Murillo at all this year. Thus why I said when you do not see or hear of a DB during a game, you actually know they are playing a damm good game. Murillo was the 1 who blew coverage against Crabtree on that big 4th down when TTech went for it. No. It was a cover 2 and Asante did not cover his deep half. Instead he bit on the TE coming in the gap of the cover 2 instead of going with the best WR in the country, who was his real responsibility to begin with. Marvin Sanders admitted as much after the game. http://www.journalstar.com/blog/huskers.ph...p;pb=1#comments As for the fourth-and-four 47-yard pass from Graham Harrell to Michael Crabtree, NU secondary coach Marvin Sanders said it was a blown assignment by the safety. Armando Murillo was supposed to have help over the top. Regardless, Murillo still blew coverage. I watched the game, I saw the play.

  12. The only Missouri commit I'd take is Sheldon Richardson, & he's probably headed to Miami.
  13. Did you really expect Wolfert to make that? In snow, field is garbage and falling apart, wind blowing and it being almost a 50 yard? Give Lou Groza or Adam Vinatieri those same conditions and they will be hard pressed at making that one too. But Wolfert is the 2nd leading scorer in the Big 12 while Henery is 9th. Wolfert is 17-22 (77.3%) on the year while Henery is 14-17 (82.4%). But keep in mind that 4 of Wolfert's misses are from 50+ while Henery has 2 misses of 50+ yards. While percentages are not close, scoring is in Wolfert's favor and the other thing is seniority. I know someone will say it should not matter, but it does. Well, if nobody had faith that he would make it, what business did he gave on the field? Also, did anyone really think Henerey would Make a 57 yarder with the game on the line? Alex Henerey for first team all big 12, I'm the maudfather, and I approve this message. : I agree with Maudfather. If Missouri didnt expect Wolfert to make the FG why would they send him out there? Anyways, no doubt Alex Henery should be first team All Big XII after making a game winning 57 yard field goal.
  14. Wanted to congradulate u guys on ur win over Missouri. Your team played a hell of a game.
  15. He didn't waste any time in decommitting for someone who is 'really, really interested' in Tennessee.
  16. Don't forget Mike Sherman - Texas A&M will be a continual bottomfeeder in the Big XII South under him.
  17. I think we can all agree that we dont want him. PLZ - can we let this thread die already?
  18. Thursday - Texas over Texas A&M Friday - Nebraska over Colorado UCLA over Arizona State LSU over Arkansas Buffalo over Kent State Mississippi over Mississippi State West Virginia over Pittsburgh UTEP over East Carolina Central Michigan over Eastern Michigan Miami-OH over Ohio Akron over Temple Bowling Green over Toledo Boise State over Fresno State Saturday - USC over Notre Dame Oregon State over Oregon Tulsa over Marshall Alabama over Auburn Florida over Florida State Texas Tech over Baylor Virginia Tech over Virginia South Carolina over Clemson Oklahoma over Oklahoma State Arkansas State over North Texas Missouri over Kansas Washington State over Hawaii Tennessee over Kentucky Houston over Rice Southern Miss over Southern Methodist Miami over North Carolina State UCF over UAB North Carolina over Duke Georgia over Georgia Tech Cincinnati over Syracuse Utah State over New Mexico State Louisiana Tech over Nevada Memphis over Tulane Florida International over Florida Atlantic Wake Forest over Vanderbilt Maryland over Boston College
  19. Getting this guy would be HUGE! Every since Mo Purify graduated, every1s been talking about how we need a big bodied receiver to replace him - some were saying it could be Meno Holt or Brandon Kinnie (who looks like a really good prospect). I've always felt that Purify would be extremely hard to replace & you couldnt compare our other receivers to him. However, this guy could do it IMO.
  20. Can any1 confirm if Orson Charles is visiting???
  21. On rivals, it says Sutton is narrowing things down. Does any1 know whats going on?
  22. Alright, I'm 1/2 so far...I'll have predictions for every single game, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday up later (either Wednesday night or Thursday morning)
  23. If Notre Dame has any brains they'll fire him after the season. Losing at home to an 2-8 Syracuse team is completely inexcusable & shows what a poor coach Weis is. That said, I hope they keep him for a long time.
