First I was like when I say it was BR I was like:

there is no way that anybody except Watson is at fault. For everything, the poor tackeling, lack of disciplne, all the penalties falls squarely on Watsons shoulders even if he were not the one calling the plays. Husker fans have found a scape goat and no amount of facts or information would will change opinons.

I agree that the comparison is irrevelant but the zone read is an option play, that is our base offense and we are an option team. Just a differatn type of option team. Changes do need to be made on offense but benching the best freshman to play at Nebraska (pre injury there was no question) is not one of the changes. The problem is the blocking scheme, and lack of discipline. There were some penalties that could not be avoided (around 2) but the rest stem from a lack of discipline. T-Mart is a great athlete who has impressed us all this year, both running and throwing the only thing you can say is that he is incosnitant. FRESHMAN WILL BE INCONSISTANT.

And Callahan also had two 10 win seasons. I'm saying.

Watching that game it was not the play calling (Watson). It was a clearly out coached game in the trenches (Cotton) there D-line was banged up and made our "more talented" o line look like grade schoolers. It wasn't watson it was a poorly coached offenive line. I'm not one to call of a coaches head very often but cotton needs to be replaced.

I guess nebraska can get hit in the head and its not a flag.

The flashy jersey is a gimick to get people to watch. I dont mind wearing a throwback once in a while, but it took years to build up the tradition that Nebraska has. Why throw it away by buying into crappy gimicks that look cool.

I'm not sure I would want to wear it. Sounds like a awesome coat. I always cheered for Brook I grew up in Western Kansas too and seeing a farm kid from my area have that kind of success always motivated me.
