  1. green will still redshirt
  2. this has potential. but also could cause some headaches if we aren't very very fast with the D calls.
  3. goosebumps for sure. He should do well on sundays
  4. Have you been there? I have and still prefer Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. Haven't been there no. Just seen it on TV and it looks pretty awesome. Either way, there is only 1 day to vote and it looks like we're not gonna make it past LSU unless everyone votes over 100 times each.
  5. as of right now (7AM CST 11th), there is an 889 vote difference between the us and LSU. if you didn't know, you can clear your cookies for this website, and vote as much as you want. In firefox go to internet options->security->show cookies Then at the top type "prepticket", and all the prepticket cookies will display, just delete them all and refresh the page and you'll be able to vote all you like.
  6. I've been hoping he starts, because that is really the only way he would get 4 full years of starting QB. I really want to build a team around a stable quarterback. Obviously if he doesn't perform than they will have to do something else, but I would love to see him be "the one". Wishful, yes. Possible....maybe.
  7. We're up against Michigan though. Honestly other than the fact that I'm a die hard nebraska fan, I would have to say Michigan has one the best, if not the best, stadium in college football, so I don't think we're gonna get past them. still....GBR
  8. Do we really think Ek would leave anyway? Does he have more respect for Leavitt than Bo even though they won a national championship together at LSU? And Ek is a Nebraska native. What Nebraska native would rather coach for FSU than NU? I dono, Leavitt must carry alot of weight with him.
  9. well, I have to say. I can't say I was really in favor of him taking charge of the team. Something about him just didn't seem right to me. What I want to know though is WHY. What is this "stuff" his dad was talking about: "There's a lot that went on," the elder Witt said. "I wish I could say more, but I really can't go there." What does that mean!? Why would the leading choice for QB leave a major division I university before any competition had really started? It's driving me nuts not knowing what the root cause was...
  10. I don't understand why people are making a big deal out of this. People loose scholarships ALL THE TIME. Not to mention, this guy was even injured. I have several personal friends that lost their full-ride scholarships to school due to injury (track, soccer, and basketball). Its just part of the game.
  11. True story. But going into the half we weren't looking so hot. Thank God we have Pelini. Callahan could never comeback (and never did). I'm just saying, if someone else steps up on their team, and their coach keeps doing a good job, they could be dangerous. A loss to OU is respectable, a loss to Baylor... ... ...
  12. hmmm, not the first person to mention that. Maybe I should change my name. In my defense... I signed up in the middle of callahan's last year.
  13. That might be true. But lets not forget they almost upset us, almost upset missouri, gave texas a run for their money the first couple quarters, almost upset texas tech, and did upset A&M (well...not a huge upset). We'll just have to see what happens next season.
  14. love it. calling for cody as a starter
  15. damn, I hate thursday games. Seems low-class to me.
  16. Now, hear me out on this one. Its not scary because I think we're going to loose. Obviously we have a greater chance of loseing to OU than Baylor. Whats scary about Baylor though, is they are gaining strength fast, especially with that new QB. They pulled out a terrible season this year, but they almost upset every team they played. This is the problem: even if they were good...no one would give them credit. Loosing to baylor would be a season ending loss. Just good enough to pull out a victory, but bad enough it will ruin your whole season. That's scary to me. Anyone else feel this way?
  17. we have the opportunity next year to put our name back up there big time. If we beat VaTech, Oklahoma, or Texas Tech people will start respecting us again. I can't wait for that opportunity
  18. my gut honestly thinks he should. should i let bo know?
  19. well, you can't pay for a kid that can't perform. it sucks, but its the way it is. this stuff happens all the time
