  1. The Snork

    Maher

    He's hotter'n a $2 pistol ... about as reliable too!
  2. Hell no. I'd love to see what our offense looks like under Beck if we had a more natural, capable passer. His passing seems to be good enough to get it done. I 'd like a more reliable O-line and a healthy Rex Burkhead.
  3. Flashes of brilliance framed in general incompetance. Too early to change. I blame Bo for hiring a guy who's only expirience was being a OC at Missouri State for one year. I guess we're stuck with him.
  4. Now that's just the thing to take the edge of a game like this. +1
  5. I was talking with a Colorado Alum once who mentioned this game. Apparently they refer to it as "The Lincoln Assassination."
  6. You've got to be high to think this is one of the top teams offensively. Inconsistant, error prone. Poor Poor Poor offensive line play. We've been lucky. I like Martinez ... I think he is playing with real heart. I think Tim Beck show flashes of brilliance but has to take the blame for the inconsistant play and he is a an inconsistant play caller. He only has two years expirience as an OC so in that aspect he's above average a fast learner (with a lot to learn). If Burkhead was healthy this might be another story. Considering that the offense (other than the line) is doing okay but not great.
  7. He's "Day to Day?" omg where do we send the flowers.
  8. Props to Cutler for coming back out in the 2nd half, leading his team to victory, and not whining about the hit.
  9. Wow is that considered a leg whip?
  10. How about we try some manditory naps for everybody . Players, coaches ... FANS!
  11. Yeah, you're right we were just imagining things. And the cameraman who cut to the scene was just imagining it too. Maybe it wasn't as bad as it looked, but it certainly looked bad.. bad enough that they switched the camera feed to show it. A hallucination, in the broadest sense of the word, is a perception in the absence of a stimulus. In a stricter sense, hallucinations are defined as perceptions in a conscious and awake state in the absence of external stimuli which have qualities of real perception, in that they are vivid, substantial, and located in external objective space. The most common modality referred to when people speak of hallucinations. These include the phenomena of seeing things which are not present or visual perception which does not reconcile with the physical, consensus reality. There are many different causes, which have been classed as psychophysiologic (a disturbance of brain structure), psychobiochemical (a disturbance of neurotransmitters), and psychological (e.g. meaningful experiences consciousness), this is also the case in Alzheimer's disease. Numerous disorders can involve visual hallucinations, ranging from psychotic disorders to dementia to migraine, but experiencing visual hallucinations does not in itself mean there is necessarily a disorder. Visual hallucinations are associated with organic disorders of the brain and with drug and alcohol related illness, and not typically considered the result of a psychiatric disorder. There are few treatments for many types of hallucinations. However, for those hallucinations caused by mental disease, a psychologist or psychiatrist should be alerted, and treatment will be based on the observations of those doctors. Antipsychotic and atypical antipsychotic medication may also be utilized to treat the illness if the symptoms are severe and cause significant distress. For other causes of hallucinations there is no factual evidence to support any one treatment is scientifically tested and proven. However, abstaining from hallucinogenic drugs, managing stress levels, living healthily, and getting plenty of sleep can help reduce the prevalence of hallucinations. In all cases of hallucinations, medical attention should be sought out and informed of one's specific symptoms.
  12. Agreed. I don't know why people look into this and turn it into a negative. Bell had a NONSENSE penalty, Bo said something to him, which every coach should, and Bell went over board. I hope he has to do some conditioning drills when he gets back to Lincoln for the lack of respect. If Bo was losing this team, you would see the team give up, and not still play hard. Take away those 3 turnovers, it would have been a different game. Bo lost the team a long time ago, we constantly are a top team for turnovers. Penalties, turnovers, late subs and unprepared players so we have to call timeouts. Bo doesn't have it, he's got one more year and then he's gone. A "lost" team would have given up yesterday. This one did not.
  13. I wish someone would post this exchange on youtube. Just finished rewatching it on the BTN replay. TALK ABOUT MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. Jeez! I was expecting a knock down drag out with spit flying and a raging Bell being dragged off. What I saw was Bo pointing at Bell from 4 or 5 feet away and it did look like all he said was something like "That's on you" and exasperated Bell complains/defends him self and a few assistants gently guide him away .. touching him on the elbow with an open hand and the crowd opens up and Bell walks behind the line. Later a few players are shown talking to Bell, either giving him advice or calming him down. I mean WOW! What some people think they see.
  14. Yeah you didn't give up ... okay maybe for a little while but .. you know.
  15. Give Bo the same talk that TO gave Callahan when he took over as AD.
  16. I agree ... other than Ameer. Martinez really stepped up today. I'd go as far to say that he won this game IN SPITE of the coaches.
