Why get rid of most of his staff? Get rid of all of them. The new coach decides who his assistants and support staff are. I guess if the new coach decides he wants to retain some people, that's okay, but based on the performance of this staff, I would personally send them all packing.

In regards to prop bets, specifically next coach prop bets, if Vegas knows something, bets are usually no longer taken. This has been my experience anyway.

I agree. I'm so sick of hearing the "we can't run" bull. No, we choose not to. I swear Langsdorf calls obvious run plays, or motions the offense in tight, so that the run gets stuffed. Then he can point at these plays and say that he tried to run, but it wasn't working. This staff is not interested or not patient enough to make a concerted effort to establish the run game.

I believe the school would need to go to the SEC commish and get it approved if they would want to hire a coach with previous NCAA violations.

Not even close to the same situation. Mike Riley and his coaches aren't suddenly going to become awesome coaches if they are retained another year.
