I saw this on another forum. It was created by a disabled child and his father. The son can not hold blocks well enough to make stuff out of them so they use the game to build stuff instead. So yeah, it might be "decidedly amateur", but considering a disabled child built it, I will just say it is awesome.

I do not think that Pelini would take to kindly to Frazier hitting on his wife like he likes to do. Hits on anything that moves. First hand knowledge of this in two different situations.

I tend to think what he does is OK. I seem to remember T.O. himself saying that all he did is pop his head in on McBride and what he was doing.

I havent watched them, but looking at the last half of their schedule it isnt that difficult. GTech = Loss 21-17 BC = W 27-21 FSU = L 41-27 Duke = W 31-7 Virginia = W 13-3 S Carolina = W 31-14 Sure BC is decent, but they got spanked by FSU. Duke, Virginia and SC are all a joke. Needless to say I am not real worried. NU by 17. Sort of like our last six games.

Did not really miss much. It started with little interviews with each of the assistant coaches talking about nebraska, TO, and Bo put together in a video package. Then the second half was Bo talking about how he sees the program and where it is going. That stuff w have seen heard from him since he got here the first time. He has stayed very consistent with those comments.

I am not sure about that. They also called the show The Nebraska Football show.

One thing I learned from the show is that our new play by play guy is going to be Greg Sharpe as he is the one doing the show.

One of the things that Dr. Osborne said was he wanted someone who understood Nebraska. not only as a football team but as a state. Grobe would of brought his entire staff and not hire anyone with Nebraska ties to help out with the culture. We just had a coach that did that and it did not work out. I am sure that T.O. was gun shy about that. I hope that he was not forcing Bo to choose certain assistants but I can not blame him for wanting some Nebraska people on staff.

Who is he? I have never heard of him. I watch WOWT. He does the afternoon show (2-6) on Big Sports 590 out of Omaha.

Actually he did apologize in the first 2 minutes of his next show. I agree with some of what is said that some have problems with him because he is an outsider. I do not have a problem with this. I have a problem when he gets mad at a caller because they disagree with him and resorts to name calling. He called someone and idiot on Saturday during the nebraska/creighten post game show. This is not the first time this has happened. But it seems like the only time that this really happens is when someone disagrees with something to do with the bluejay basketball team. I have stopped listening to him because of this but have started to listen again during the football season while in the car because I can not get 1620 where I live. I then catch 1620 on the podcast before bed.

Doane made it to the finals in the fall of '97 I believe. Could of been '98. I went to Doane and spent some time in the athletic department as a student assistant. I still have strong ties to the department and the college. Yes he did run a lot of players off. I think he was down in the forties (as far a players) his last year there. No, he is the the type of recruiter that some might think he is. His plan was to recruit out of state. He tried to bring people in from everywhere but Nebraska. One of the reasons that he was brought in was they thought that he could recruit nebraska really well because of his name. That failed. I seem to remember one of the major complaints about Bill is that he does not value Nebraska players. Neither did he while he was at Doane. He had such great relations with his players that he only had 7 guys showing up consistently for off season workouts. That is straight from a players mouth that was showing up. Now that I am done with those things...I could go on...I want to say that he was always very nice to my wife and me when we were around and was really great with my daughter. She was frightened by him at first but his smile won her over quickly. He actually seemed like a very nice man contrary to what a lot of people had told me and what I had heard about him.

I saw it also. He did not mention a radio station in his post. It has been deleted from the other board. I am 99.9% sure it was that guys idea of a joke.

Who was the guy that did sports nightly the year that Solich got fired? I remember the interview he did with BP the day that Callahan let him go. It sounded as if they both already knew that BP was headed to Oklahoma.

I understand that T.O. said that he was going to make any changes until the end of the year and I expect that to happen. I am now placing myself in the shoes of the kids. I can not imagine what this is like on them. They all know that he is gone. That has to be rough on them. I can not imagine that he is much fun to be around and they probably do not even want to come to the building. Their lives have to be really bad right now. There has been a lot of talk around here that "what good would a coaching change do right now?" I think that it would make those kids' lives a lot better. Heck, they might even start playing hard again. Maybe I am off base here but I think it might better the atmosphere in that place. Sort of like the athletic department I bet has a better atmosphere now that steve is gone.
