If it is Pelini then we should support whatever he has planned for us to return to winning ways! I dont know about most of you but i want someone who is going to be a round a while and not just jump ship because its getting a little dicey with how rabid a husker fan and the expectations of this program! We need stability and someone we can believe in. Also i beleive that the true husker fan is patient and will allow someone to come in and rebuild but damn!t just be competitive and do not get blown out!!

Not really much to say about Solich other than i would bet my life that Solich will not be a HC at nebraska ever again.

I remember watching the 1992 championship, Alabama vs Miami..it was a hella of a game but one thing that really got stuck in my head was the roll of toilet paper and box of tide that one of the fans was holding up! Just shows you how passionate the Alabama fans are about their football! We (the husker fans) share that passion! We will get back to winning again, TO will right the ship! Good luck Alabama!

Did they misspell Osborne on 590 too? Jeez i did not realize there was a spelling contest here! I will try and self edit my posts a little better!

Also they stated that "Bo Pelini did not impress Tom Osbourne and that Turner Gill is the guy for the cornhuskers". Thats what i heard on 590 that they stated came from Espn.

Tell Russ Hoschein we said hi! That would be the only former husker that i know of on that team!

I love what cowher would bring to the table by means of attitude, grit and toughness but i don't see this happening! I would not be un-happy if he got the job but i am sure i would be surprised if he is even considering NU.

I am actually surprised with this firing! At least his team was competitive but i guess they have to beat Georgia kind of like how Michigan has to beat Ohio state!

I believe this has been talked about on this forum before and most think he is to old and he has been quoted as saying he is very happy at Tampa and has no plans to change.

Good question, but i believe most husker fans will be happy if we are competitive in games and not get blown out. We have lots of talent, if anything Callahan did right it was in recruiting good players. The next coach will have a crap load of talent to work with but the scheme and getting the players to buy into the scheme will be the key. I would be happy with a 7-5 or 6-6 season but i wouldnt be surprised to see another 5-7 season.

You and Tom Shatel are agreeing right now. I truly believe that it will be Bo or some other fiery coach that brings back the swagger and hard nose football that NU was known for! Although i thought Bo was a slam dunk for this job a week ago, i am now second guessing that prediction! Only time will tell.
