I would pretty much echo that. I don't expect to win the conference title every year, but judging by the lack of strength in the North every year, we should at least win our division and compete well in the Big 12 championship.

I'm hearing lots of talk all around Huskerdom, not just here, about Cody Green taking over the #1 spot before the season is over. Then you hear lots of talk that Lee has a lock on the job and he'll be great. LaTravis Washington is still in the mix as well. Just so we don't have a dozen people posting up "I said this would happen" when Green takes over, or when Green ends up redshirting, or when Lee wins the Heisman, or when Washington becomes the second coming of Tommie Frazier, let's have everyone make their predictions here in one spot. Organization is a good thing. ______________________ My prediction: Zac Lee is not only solid, but pretty good. He holds the #1 spot all year, with Green the clear #2. Green doesn't redshirt, and gets game action as early as week one against FAU.

I live in Lincoln but I've never been to a high school game here. I have no vested interest in any of the teams, and if I wanted to get my football fix I'd just watch the Huskers.

You seem very hung up on the 300th sellout. It's a big deal, but probably not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. The team, and the fans, are more focused on rebuilding the program than 300 sellouts. We'll have a celebration, the stadium will be full, but epitomizing Nebraska Football, something that has been sorely lacking lately, is the bigger item on the agenda right now.
