Well after hearing that he may be able to pull in Ed Orgeron (sp) I think that we may just want to wait to see who he gets for his assistants before we judge, and possibly a couple of years of actual football.

I don't think Bo helped his future by not taking the high road but whatever. I disagree that Bo shouldn't have been here and I don't think the well he hasn't worked out is not entirely accurate either. I think Bo helped dig this place out of a huge hole that The previous Admin. dug. But, sometimes the people that are good at that aren't good at getting to the next level. Bo doesn't handle adversity well, and it think it has been showing more and more in the last three seasons and was proved once again.

Umm yeah that was a very different situation than what we are in today.

I think to many people have listened to the BS that the Northern schools just cant compete anymore so much that they are starting to believe it too. The media, well all it takes is a few to not like a place for whatever reason to make it sound like it is the worse place in the world. These a lot of times are the same people who also said that Bo is an idiot, look at his sideling demeanor, and that he will not get us over the hump and then we fire him and now we are dumb for doing so because that what we are. I know this is a little off track but Harvey better be hoping the Athletic department succeeds for crying out loud that is a lot of money it brings in.

Well as far as I can tell Collin Cowturd doesn't think Nebraska is f'd but more like its beyond f'd because no coaches wife would want to come to Lincoln not matter how world class the facilities are according to Herbstreit. He was seriously comparing Lincoln to Anchorage Alaska and was saying no body wants to be in Lincoln and never has. Sorry but I beg to differ. I know the college landscape has changed but I think its more because of the Northern Cities that let it and more like the Northern cities like the biggest whiners like Kstate Iowa St teams that are door mat programs. Yes I know Kstate is playing pretty good ball in a bad conference but as soon as Snyder is gone they're done. Sorry, I liked Bo but I think his stubbornness did him in. Yes I thought too that Bo would have had a chance to revamp his staff, but I really don't think he would have or said no to the pressure. Are we going to get the splash hire that everyone is expecting? Probably not, but I think if you get a good committed coach with a great vision and someone who has been around and knows many people on all sides of the ball who can fill his staff with great energetic people, well that may be the best scenario for us anyway.

Not highly rated, but it doesn't matter at all to me(not that anyone cares) but I would really like to see this guy end up N. No matter what type of offense we would run we could use this type of size and athleticism.

Yeah I was excited and was thinking man never thought about Briles, but after reading a lot of these posts I would have to agree that he isn't going to leave Texas and probably not even Baylor. Kinda funny because there were a lot of people that thought he would fall on his face after RGIII Graduated, but that didn't happen. He is a good coach that recruits guys he can teach and it paid off and now he is getting better players and doing really well.

Also on Sharp and Benning they had Scott Roussel from Football scoop who they say is very knowledgeable and said that Scott Frost IS NOT coming to Nebraska per a very trusted source, and he said that he tried the what ifs and it was dismissed and said he is not going to Nebraska at this time. Basically said that we are not interested in a coach that doesn't have head coaching experience. It really sounds to me that we may have the coach already picked.
