  1. Yeah I would agree with a lot of people here, and say that Brown and Kaz would be good choices to keep. I think that Garrison, Fisher and Warren may as well be good candidates to keep their jobs some by on field performance coaching and Recruiting for all three of them.
  2. Someone mentioned earlier that no would come in and try to rebuild this program from the ground up. Well that has been already tried with the previous staff and mostly by Steve Pedersen. And yeah it didn't work, and not just because we sucked but because he turned away from what made NU what they were. Nebraska's program doesn't need to be changed completely it just needs to be woke up.
  3. Saw a tweet a while ago that said that Jim Harbaugh was seen exiting a private jet at the Lincoln airport. I was really excited and then felt stupid because that probably isn't going to happen, but wow would that be a great hire!!!
  4. This. He has a family that hasn't seen much of him in the last seven years. Take the rest of your life off and LIVE it. Want to coach because he likes football? Volunteer at some high school. Money comes and money goes, but the sand in the hourglass runs only one way. I totally agree with this. Bo looked very beaten down this season. Take a break
  5. I think that is about as positive of an article as you are going to get from Dirk about Pelini. And, he hit the nail on the head with the situation that we are in.
  6. Holy cow Sip that was really bad even if you are a fan of Bo. I have been a Bo supporter the whole time he has been here, and I like his personality and what he could bring. The problem is; he is too damn stubborn to bring in two Great Coordinators and let them do their jobs.
  7. Like our Oline. That is a big problem and it shows every game. I know there are others but for crying out loud play the best players at least.
  8. You know come to think of it. Weren't they saying before the season that they were going through the play book and taking the plays that we do well and using those? Well where the hell are they?
  9. I agree with you. It seemed that when TA was taking the snap from under center and handing it off to Cross, it was working. Cross is good when he can run downhill for a couple of yards before getting to the line. Not so much when being handed the ball next to the QB like AA. Its kinda funny because their were people saying this prior to the last game and when they started doing it it made me laugh. And hell low and behold it worked. No I don't think we have any influence on this, but for crying out loud please just stick to what is working. Enough trying to fool people because we sure as hell aren't fooling anyone when we do that. Remember last year and the Burkhead years when we would line up in the I-Form and toss it and Rex or AA would catch the toss already going down hill. What the heck ever happened to that play. I was aying the same thing. That was absolutely using AA's speed and shiftiness in a power play that worked very very well. I was hoping to see some of that against Minnie and even wisky but it just didn't happen.

  11. This^. As I said before, the decision to keep or fire has already been made. Now when the fans know is up for debate as is when/if Bo gets fired. Yeah I agree. They have been doing their homework for quite some time and have also continued to do research to know what decisions are best going forward. The sooner we make a decision the better the chance of saving the recruiting class that is full of studs.
  12. It was when we had Cross in the game. I couldn't figure out why in the hell they pulled him and put Abdullah back in when Cross was getting like 5 Plus yards per carry. And, no I don't think Cross is better when they are healthy but that was stupid and it was obvious that Ameer couldn't handle it.
  13. AJ Bush is the other QB. And I think if we decided to make a move like this right now it is going to have to be Armstrong or Fyfe. If we continue with this after this year you recruit to it and then with the players here you pick the best one to put there out of the three. That is your only choice because obviously they cant handle the crap they are supposed to be doing now. Another option would be going to the juco ranks and find one the fits the bill and try to get that person here until we can get the new recruit ready.
  14. Yeah Obviously. I am in the boat that I want us to win because I know we are a better team that them or should be and the rest of our losses as well. But, if we don't I am done losing sleep or being completely pissed off that we lost. And that in my opinion sucks but the rest of my family may like that better. Also, losing to Iowa would suck immensely because my wife has half of her family in iowa and we have ongoing bet with them about how we dress our kids on game day with proof from pics.
  15. Voted for Doc Holliday because well that name as our coach would be awesome. Especially because our vizsla is named Wyatt after Wyatt Earp. But would really rather have McElwain. No way for Tressel. I would like to see Frost come in a coordinator role but know he wont.
  16. I have a feeling that the feelers have been out for quite sometime and the research continues to be done to know whether or not we can make a move now or not. It's not like they have forgotten the last time they didn't have their ducks in a row.
  17. Most of us are saying that we would like to see a coaching change, but just because we would never cheer against the Huskers doesn't make us sheep. Please put some thought into what you are going to post. I would like to see some changes in the coaching staff, but I will be hoping for a win on Friday. If we followed this path, Bill Callahan would still be our coach! Are you flipping serious about this!!!! How many wins did Clownjob have compared to Bo? How many embarrassing losses did we have with Him. I sat through the A&M game in 07 and didn't leave early because I never do because I feel it is a privilege for me to be there. And that game was the WORST game I have ever witnessed just by the demeanor of the Players, coaches and of course the fans. I think if Clownjob would have kept his job the sellout streak would most definitely have ended. I felt terrible for the athletes on that team because we had ALOT of very talented players on that team. Would I welcome change now absolutely and I also thought Bo should have made some changes after last season with assistants including the S&D coordinator. But, iowa REALLY No fricking way. I really don't think us beating iowa would change the mind of the people who will be making any kind of a decision. How ridiculous that statement is!!
  18. Very true. Also I would say we need some Corners that are willing to show in all of the big games as well!
  19. Kinda funny. Did anyone notice that the Badger RB's ran to how the Oline was blocking on that play. I mean every play is suppose to go a certain way but it doesn't always work out that way. That doesn't mean that you just don't block or lose focus you go out hit somebody the first one coming up. WTH I always laugh when he is up for an interview and say that he is the player that gives football players a bad rap.
  20. Well whether Mitchel stops him by himself or not he needs to get a hat on the guy. As far as Shanle saying that it is as simple as setting the damn edge well it is. The DE's have been taught since grade school that you have outside containment. But, it was both the DB's responsibility as we as the DE. They have their own responsibilities on the edge but they both failed Numerous times throughout the game. It just blows my mind that they fell for it Every flipping time in three quarters CRAZY or maybe INSANE would be better there.
  21. Well what's really funny is that Abdullah isn't a Christian. Yet Ron could help him with his faith and turn him into a man that believes wholly in his abilities. That's what he has that no other coach on our team has. Ron makes you believe in yourself, and not always by compliments either. Someone asked is it the coach or is it the player....well it's both. Ron see's the potential of the player and takes that player or players and drives the metal part of it into their heads. He makes them reach their potential. Brown would be a HUGE loss to this program if he ever decided to leave. He is not greedy, and he knows how to work with people and believes in what he preaches.
  22. Seems like you're having pretty much the same reaction to criticism that Kenny Bell is having. Not really. I think Kenny Bell has a right to defend himself, but he called out fans for basically being "too passionate". I am saying that our passion(both good and bad) is what makes the Huskers special. And he doesnt seem to mind that passion when he is flashing his hand symbols, but as soon as it turns negative he thinks we are too passionate? Kenny Bell has a right to defend himself and the team, but understand why people are mad. I wish he said something like "Ya, the fans have a right to be pissed. We got destroyed, and I for one am just as pissed if not more. What we put out there is not a fair display of how hard we work and what we are capable of... I cant worry about what the fans are saying, but they probably have a point and we need to get out there and figure this out" It seems like he doesnt think it is fair we are upset and wanting change. Kenny Bell isnt calling the fans out for being too passionate. He is calling the ones out that have unrealistic thoughts that we can win 11-12 games every single year. He would love to just as much as alot of posters would love to get a ring or trophy for what they do on the field. If everyone was just mad and complained about losses with out calling for some ones job it would be a different story. Well Doesn't Ohio St.? The sad part of my day watching this game was the fact that my wife and kids were waiting for me to go off like a raging nut......and I didn't I pretty much just sat in my chair and shook my head. I think there are a lot of people that did the same thing and used to have a lot more passion for Husker football for my its Husker athletics and my family as well, but getting our asses handed to us after two very sloppy games was just....I am not sure what the right word is.
  23. Well they didn't watch the film. But, that's not where the problem is, that's just we see on the field. Bo doesn't do well with adversity, he seems like the type of guy that's smart but not witty it takes him a little while to come up with something after he has been slapped in the face and that's how his team plays. hey see something different and get slapped in the face and by the time they decide to make a change its too late the damage is to much to overcome. I'm commenting more towards Bo still blaming players for not executing his scheme. Seven years in and we are still struggling to execute. Somewhere between Bo's brilliant defensive mind, and getting his players to put it on the field, there's an issue. Or the issue is maybe a lack of brilliance, I'm not sure. Either way it doesn't matter what a coach knows, he's not playing the game, it's what that coach can get on the field. Tim Beck is one of the worst I've seen in this aspect. You're right though, things tend to snowball quickly. I have always been a Bo supporter, but I am just to the point that we are never going to get anywhere if he stays the coach. I just don't get it really its not like he doesn't know what he is doing from a football stand point but maybe from a Managers stand point he doesn't know how to deal with the other coaches or sees what no one else does. All I know is we have talent on the team and they are not putting it all out on the field.
