  1. Right, like how is this not considered a form of targeting? Are they only concerned with concussions, to the point that they don't really care about stuff like being able to walk?
  2. I think it could be fairly described as large, but to be honest I think it was really more of a scarlet. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.
  3. Translation: "I'm basically fine with players deliberately trying to injure each other, and I think we should all just turn a blind eye to it."
  4. Man, this thread took a nosedive straight into the s#!tter, didn't it?
  5. He was at a complete standstill at the moment Martinez went down, but he still launched himself in.
  6. I could've slept through my macroeconomics class in college and got an A...
  7. I mean come on, it's Troy week! Where's Troy?!
  8. Honestly, I'd still rather sit him this week just to be safe. Then again, if a game against Troy helps him get any more freshman mistakes out of his system, well...

This thing where we have both '+1' and 'upvote' (denoted by a slightly different +1 icon) is really goofy.
  10. @MichiganDad3 Montez did set a CU record for most consecutive pass attempts without being intercepted last year, so that's one thing he's got. He did throw one last week to Colorado State's awful defense, though.
  11. Hawaii actually put up more yards against Colorado State than the Buffs did, and about as many points. @Moiraine Making QBs look like Heisman candidates, I believe.
  12. Eh, it's mostly because we don't really have anything else to talk about right now, and general frustration about the canceled game. Nobody will care too much once we have an actual game to talk about.
  13. "That's when dorm rooms became an option. Nebraska, which stays at the Cornhusker Marriott the night before home games, had secured vacant dorm rooms on the UNL campus for its players Saturday night. When it became clear that Akron couldn't find hotel rooms, Nebraska officials offered those dorm rooms to the Zips, Moos said. It appeared there would be hotel ballroom space available to provide a pregame meal for Akron players in the morning." https://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/rapid-reaction-moos-says-akron-tickets-will-be-reissued-if/article_c4ccbca8-b122-11e8-828a-bb5d63f000c4.html#tracking-source=home-top-story-1
  14. @huKSer I'm pretty sure you mean what they call the "GI Generation", not the "Traditionalists", ie the generation that fought in WWII. The Silent Generation/Traditionalists is the generation that was alive during WWII, but too young to fight. But why is the 'Greatest Generation' greatest? Because Tom Brokaw said so. It's mostly silly arbitrary boundaries anyway...
  15. Baby Boomers were the only generation defined by an actual, measurable demographic shift, ie the period of increased birth rates following World War II. The rest are entirely arbitrary divisions.
  16. Sorta like the belts given in some martial arts. They're not black belt defenders yet, they've only earned yellow.
  17. Because they're a state-run organization and open record laws are a thing? They probably had people requesting it. https://nebraska.edu/docs/legal/Public-Records-Requests-Guidance-V2.00.pdf "Commonly requested public records are contracts, financial records, letters, and other forms of communication."
  18. Get on it, Moos, there's clearly a demonstrated need for these upgrades!
  19. Nothing brings Baby Boomers and Gen Xers together like referring to anyone under 40 as 'Millennials'.
  20. Screw that, let's just build a Faraday cage around Lancaster County to keep the lightning out.
