  1. Go to espn360 and watch the game. Its at the 1 hour and 5 min mark
  2. I agree that it was dirty and completely unnecessary, but you have to see it through his perspective. He saw that the ball flew incomplete, next thing he knows a tight-end is lunging at his knees. Sadly, it might of been a natural reaction for him.
  3. That makes perfect sense. Gabbert and receivers are a billion times more talented than Tyrod Taylor and Co. The hookies running backs are average at best. And comparing playing at Vtech vs. Columbia is just plain stupid.
  4. Can the whole stadium hear our "bullsht" chant?
  5. Because they beat Oregon and Florida St. and we have beat 3 cupcakes plain and simple.
  6. I love rap but All the Above is not a pump up song. Put on and We Ready would work much better. But like previously stated, it most likely will never happen. All though it doesnt make sense to me. Most of the players prefer rap, arent we trying to pump them up? But as for a new, non rap song, I would love New Noise.
  7. I was in the east stadium and I saw what most of you all saw. Me and my buddy made it a point to watch Martin on every kickoff. The kid flat out goes full speed shoulder first into blocks. On one kickoff he stoned 2 blockers. On another, an ASU player was about to take him on then made a career move and got out of Martin's way.
  8. One thing that I noticed right away was the bone crushing hits. Asante had one, Thenarse had one that caused a fumble, and even Eric Martin laid the wood. Overall I saw good form tackling.
  9. No, but interesting first post.
  10. I'm not buying into the Niles Paul hype at all. I think that by mid-season Kinnie, Bell and either Marlowe or Cooper will be the "starters," and by starters I mean the guys who get the vast majority of the snaps. Jen I normally try not to get too involved in the hype buy is see Paul's hype as legit because it's coming straight from the coaches mouth. I doubt they would over hype a player. Just my opinion. Luckily we will find out in 8 days!
  11. I will be picking up my student season tickets today. 147$. YEAHHHHHHHHHH
  12. This doesn't mean that you should blindly support him. When something as drastic as a player getting dismissed occurs, I think it's healthy to be able to step back and question and ascertain the situation, rather then defaulting to 'bo is right in everythign he does' I can blindly support whomever I want, that is why we have message boards like previously stated. But seriously, we are all fans here. And I think for the most part we all respect Bo's judgment on these types of issues. I may have freaked out a little bit due to my lack of daily koolaid this morning.
  13. I am on the bandwagon with people who are fed up with posters who question Bo's views and rights as a head coach. The guy doesn't take bs. Not from a starter or from a walk-on senior who might be in a few special teams plays during the beginning of the season. This is what i view some of you are thinking.... 1. we loved him as a Defensive Coordinator 2. we liked that he got the nod for Head Coach 3. we questioned his judgment on Glenns suspension/ of the subject 4. we loved that he posted a 9-4 record after a horrid season before 5. we are now questioning his views on ethics this, morality that BOTTOM LINE!!!!! is, the guy turned our beloved team from a 5-7 shame to a 9-4 team with big aspirations for this year, with or without Q. So lets just calm down with all the "Bo better recruit betterfasternow" talk. The man was offered a job by T.O., he came into work and he did is job. Plain and simple. If Bo dismissed a player then in my opinion they deserved it. Cliff Notes: -BO-KNOWS just like he did last year -The sky isn't falling -Let's play some freaking ball -GO BIG RED
  14. It's good to hear Watson raving about how Paul has been doing, Holt too. But i'm telling you guys, dont over look Kinnie. If he doesn't post big numbers this year he will in the future. The guy has the speed and the hands. But the point is, we have the talent at WR this year. We have guys with the athleticism to can catch a 3 yard slant and take it to the house. I think Paul and Holt could potentially put up great stats this year. But one question I think we have over looked is who is going to be the best run blocker WR this year?
  15. Yeah I honestly think could be a pro bowler tight end. He is SOOO athletically gifted. Or he could be the tallest receiver ever that i can recall lol
  16. One thing people overlook about Callahan, he recruited out best athlete on the field last year and this year. Someone who will be a top 5 draft pick next year. Without Suh last year, who knows if we would have finished 9-4. But I agree there are exceptions. Like previously stated, teams that recruit the big names guys are usually the teams they excel. Sure there are exceptions but its generally how it ends up.
  17. This is a tuff one. Wherever Paulus went, I assume he intended to start. Otherwise what would be the point of playing college fb for one year just to sit on the bench. He almost certainly would not have started her. Lee is much more familiar with the offence than Paulus could have ever been. That being said, I do think Athleticism could sometimes overcome "rust". Perfect example. Lebron James. I dont know if he has ever played a down of football in his life. But, he is a freak athlete. People all the time speculate how he could be as a tight-end in the NFL. Would Lebron ever even consider playing football? Hell no. But if he did, he could maybe get some playing time. Players like Antonio Gates, who played both basketball and football, could be successful in both sports. Athleticism is athleticism, plain and simple.
  18. I was always pulling for him to come here. The more competition at QB the better. He could have saved a few redshirts for sure. But I wish him the best. I like stories like this when players come from one sport to another just for the pure love of playing the game.
  19. It would be truly awesome to see a Brady to Nunn td pass on any given sunday.
  20. Both players would be great pick ups, but I just hope we can snag at least one of them.
  21. Thanks for the support guys. Like I said, I'm just a student who knows a few people in the football program. That's it. Any info or insight I can get from players I post. i.e...Qvale has been looking great, and that Hagg is looking good. Stuff like that. Not info that would be detremental to some one like Coach Stoops who I'm sure scours these forums for any info he can get. But back on topic. Like previously stated, Bo and Carl are going to be playing a lot of LBrs at the beginning. You know, to see how players work with each other. But, in my opinion, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if all of this offseason hype about Dillard being in the dog house lights a fire under is ass. I'm willing to bet that he WILL contribute to the Blackshirts this year. Only time will tell. And as far as Lawrence goes. I know he is a very smart kid and knows the defense well. He has been screwed lately because of the 3 concussions. If the new Zenieth sp? helmet works out for him, I think he could help the LB core greatly this year as well.
  22. Bryce Brown? Sounds like you need some new friends He was a nice kid. We aren't friends per say more like acquaintances. It was a big fishing trip.
