Well, let's beat the Sooners and propel ourselves into a respectable ranking. Then go beat up some Broncos and place ourselves back into the national spotlight for next year. Win the last two games...simple enough!

I don't want anyone to think I am beating a dead horse here but, after watching the USC/Notre Dame game last night I have to say that Bill Callahan knew what he was doing. I always thought that he called the best game he could against such a potent DEFENSE. Yes, DEFENSE. If you watched the game you'll know what I am talking about. Dwayne Jarrett is just a monster and should not hesitate to go pro...soon. Some of his catches last night were phenomenal. Notre Dame looked lost; which Nebraska did not when playing the men from Troy. I am proud of the progress our team has made and look forward to more success in the future. GBR!

We are destined for this game. Ten years ago Nebraska played in the Fiesta Bowl against a team that sported Blue and Orange for school colors. 62 points later we were National Champions. Not that this game carries that much weight, it'd still be nice. Boise State is ole Dan Hawkins old school. Be nice to throttle them too!

The running game has burnt us a couple of times this year. I am sure Cosgrove will be emphasizing this during this week's practice. We stop the OU run, we win. On a side note: Adrian Peterson may be ready by next Saturday. My thoughts are that he hasn't seen as much physical activity since his injury and it may show during the game next week if he does, in fact, play.

Hey, I can't stand Texas. I mean...I can take about as much from a Longhorn as I can from a Nole...get my point? I am so glad we are playing Oklahoma; it's like the Big 8 all over again. Send those Texas teams packing and give me back what once was.

That's one thing I have always noticed about Taylor; he never got up after a hit and showed any emotion towards the O line for breaking down. He'll be missed. He has really set the bar high for follow-on QBs at Nebraska.
