I'm hoping SE says April Fool's!!!! You guys really didn't think I would hire a coach from a bottom feeder PAC-12 school who is almost old enough to qualify for Medicare. Surely you didn't think I would fire a 9-3 coach to hire Mike Freaking Riley who finished finished 2-7 in their conference. Then everyone will have a big laugh and everyone can quit pretending that they think this was a good hire only because they know we are now royally screwed for the next 5-7 years if he lives that long.

That's my point. His only upside was his defensive mind which now appears is no longer present. He is not a good recruiter. He is a PR nightmare. I just don't see what point Bo serves and why he should be given another chance with new coordinators. If we are going to go the new coordinators route, we might as well just clean house.

If we hire a new OC/DC coordinator and let them run what they want, what is the purpose of Bo Pelini? What does Bo bring to the table as a head coach? What purpose does he serve? I have no idea what the answer to those questions are, someone please fill me in?

Silver-lining from today's game.... At least we don't have to get taken to the woodshed again in the B1G championship.

Um sure...2 players who haven't started gone, a 3rd string running back in a stable of backs that would start for most of our opponents and one player from the deepest position we have on defense and you're ready to sell the farm. You might back off on that rhetoric a bit maybe? This hair on fire attitude is really irksome. I think he means we lose 4 games every year regardless, why would these injuries change those expectations?

If I"m Bo, I realize I'm a terrible head coach and have been stealing from the state for 6 years. I do the honorable thing and step down and let a mature adult coach these young men.

What's next.... Probably more 8-5 & 9-4 seasons with a majority on this board working overtime to spin excuses why none of this is Bo Pelini's fault and we can't do better so lets keep on plowing through mediocre season after mediocre season.

No one needs to hope for a loss with this program any more. Every game is a crap shoot and if they have a pulse, they are going to beat down this soft ass team.
