Quitting isn't honorable but I think some are missing the point. BC and KC have already quit but they are still getting paid. Since they aren't doing their jobs they should do the honorable thing and step down and stop getting paid for nothing. As far as I'm concerned they can't be gone soon enough. There is some honor in admitting you aren't doing your job and the company that hired you should be allowed to replace you and move on. He won't do that bc/ it is all about the money......oh yeah and his savior J. Christ

I'm not into frying you nut I really can't get behind this at all. In the end, when a team is this bad, it lies at the feet of the head coach. He is a poor leader, doesn't understand tradition and should be cleaning out his office as soon as they get back to Lincoln.

That wasn't this coaching staff, although it was embarassing. Going 7-7 under Solich was too. Here's another: Getting beat by KU last time we went to Manhattan 40- 15 (I think)? We've already got 3-4 and we're not out of Cally's first year. Thats a terrible thought. It gets better this year: Giving up about 500 yards/ game. Only beating Ball State by 1 point Giving up 38 points at home to Ok State by half time Giving up 200+ rushing yards in the 4th quarter to Texas 76 points by Kansas Offensive play calling has been ...well.....offensive at times. I think we could go through just about all of the post game shows and press conference and find comments that represent something Nebraska coaches have never done or said before.

I don't know if embarrassing is the word but watching us pass on 3rd and short over the last 4 years has really started to piss me off as well.

I was at that game. NO we should never lose to ISU, they make terrible winners. Bout as bad as some Husker fans are at losing. Lack of practice....for both!

I'm pretty sure we are 1 of the schools lobbying and working behind the scenes. I also believe that this staff has been asked more than 1x to resign and they refuse. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The defense has quit on these coaches. I think if I was at a game I might boo. I understand why people say we shouldn't but the effort is less than poor. Is it possible to boo the staff but not the players.

Yeah, do something. Send a message that this isn't OK at NU. I'm guessing he is a patient man looking at the big picture but even he has to be baffled and disgusted at what is happening. I think that a very strong argument could be made that Cos is not trying anymore and as a result he needs to be removed. The D has certainly quit on him. They have no faith in the scheme or their teamates.

We scored ridiculous #'s of points on the lesser-thans in the Big 12 for years and years. Whether we intentionally ran up the score or not, don't expect any mercy. If I was a KU fan I'd have been cheering for 100 points. We beat them 36 years in a row. I guess I don't have a problem with it. I think someone else in this post said it "If you don't like it them stop them from scoring."

I'm 35. In my lifetime I've never seen anything like this. Thought maybe I'd start a thread to list all of the embarrassing firsts this coaching staff has so graciously given husker nation. The first is a 5-6 season. I'd never seen a losing season as a Nebraska fan. I wrote it off to new system, old players. Deep down I felt like a better coaching staff could've taken what was a 10 win team and still won the weak Big 12 North that year. Your turn.

So why don't you tell us how you think it should have happened? How should the fans, media, etc act in this situation? I agree it has been nasty at times, but the direction of this program is not acceptable to us lesser fans. Do you think we should have just continued on as things are? What is it that you want to see happen?
