What Dan Cook needs is to calm down and then have a nice sit down talk with new interim AD Tom Osborne. Everything will be fine after that.

yep. This team has been hi-jacked from Husker nation. It is OK to let the powers that be know we are not amused. I've been thinking the same thing all day. I'm afraid that without a really really horrible collapse Cos will go but Cally will stay. I think we may need to lose out to get rid of Pedy, Cally and the rest. Its uncomfortable to think that way.

If I lived in Lincoln and was at the game I would've booed and left. I could go into the list of how many shirts I own, etc. but it's OK if you think you are a bigger fan than me. Its also OK if you think I am a fair weather fan bc/ I just don't care. Your grand reward is patting yourself on the back. Sports are entertainment. I have limited time and money. Sometimes the product isn't worthy of my time and money. I also have a life and priorities outside of Husker ball. My grand reward is spending time with my kids, riding my bike, getting caught up on work, a number of things. I'll probably still stream the audio and check scores on-line but I won't be making the investment I was before. What is happening now is not husker football and so I don't have to support it. Sitting in the stands to the very end regardless of the score, spending your money regardless of what happens, cheering at the worst football we've ever played doesn't make you a true fan. It makes you a sucker. (not aimed at anyone in particular, just my opinion). I live in Colorado. The Rockies are selling out right now. I was at the play-in game against the Padres and there were fans there with old jerseys, hats, and shirts from years past. I didn't see fair weather fans. I saw people who love baseball and the Rockies who had withheld their support in protest of how they felt the team was being run.

Just because his successor is ever worse certainly doesn't excuse FS from taking a top tier team and running it into the ground anymore than HCBC is excused from taking a mediocre team and turning it into a bottom ten contender. Sounds like a man who knows he is near the end of hhis time here. I wish he would resign. During his post game conference today, Cally said he ran the ball so much to protect the defence. It wasn't in that good "control the game with the run" kind of way either. It was more like "My defense can't stop anybody and so I have to take drastic measures like running 50+ times even though we are losing to keep them off the field."

I know many of you will be as shocked as I am but OU isn't using our 3 man rush against the Mizzouri. They are trying something new. I think they called it "pressuring the quarterback." It seems to be working too.

The idea that staying in the stands thru an ass beating makes you a better fan is laughable. I don't live in Lincoln but if I did I would've left! People are leaving to show disappointment in the direction of the program. If we just happened to lay an egg and lose a game people would stay. That isn't what is happening here. Even the best fans in college football have a limit to what they will take. The self-righteous "I'm a better fan bc/ I stayed" crap is as tired as all of the "I told you so" fire the coaches posts. I'm glad you stayed. You played a HUGE part in that last touchdown and maybe the team will come to your house and shake your hand. Empty setas send a message. A message that admin and the staff doesn't seem to be getting.

It was a surreal broadcast. It was like the old War of the Worlds tapes. At the end they even apologized for the broadcast....what they were really doing was apologizing for the game. I have been critical of the radio team for trying to keep positives in bad outtings but they were pretty straight forard. Especially Matt, he's pissed!!

Even if Solich wouldn't have been fired that year, it would only be another year or 2 until he was gone. The problem wasn't removing Solich, it is what happened after......+
