  1. I would have to think that this is what it comes down to. We will have to keep our fingers crossed that he could learn in the fly. I am hoping the young coaching staff is able to connect with recruits
  2. This is the head scratcher for me, has played QB, but has never played or coached WR. How is this a smart move. Also obviously Coleman knew about this which surprises me that he was comfortable with being coached by him. I was really hoping that we would have got Dailey or someone with the history of coaching the position.
  3. Looks like we were very active in guyer and other schools in his district today! I saw him play twice this year and he plays bigger than he is!
  4. Player: Jackson Arnold Hometown: Denton, Texas School: Guyer Position: Quarterback Height: 6-1 Weight: 195 Power 5 Offers: Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kansas, LSU, Michigan State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Stanford, TCU, Tennessee, Texas Tech Visits: Twitter 247 Composite: #72 Overall; #7 QB; .9664; Rivals: #170 Overall; #9 ProQB; 247: #47 Overall; #6 QB; On3: #140 Overall; #7 QB; ESPN: Hudl Tweeted out that we offered him today! He is an absolute stud! District Offensive Player of the year here in Texas last year in a tough district! Junior Year Highlights -3,921 passing yards, 34 tds -296/445 (67%) -659 rushing yards, 12 tds beat my sons team twice last year once in state quarterfinals! Would love to get him!
  5. I will be honest I was not excited about him coming to Nebraska, but I watched the Texas tech, Oklahoma and Kansas games today and I am so impressed with him going through his reads, how he moves in the pocket especially patience and stepping up! If we can protect him he will do great!
  6. We are definitley seeing Joseph and his impact! Let’s hope he is as good as our WR Transfer last year!!!
  7. I have seen this kid play several times and he is an absolute stud! My son has played against his cousin who is in 8th grade and he will be a stud as well!!! I wish he would have come to Nebraska!!!
  8. You are correct, this is from the NCAA website: Q: Can student-athletes transfer without penalties if a coach leaves the program? A: A student-athlete can transfer at any time, subject to the regular transfer rules. Those rules are not waived if a coach leaves a program.
  9. He won’t have to sit out a season. Kids could transfer when a coaching staff leaves if Understand the rule correctly.
  10. He is liking and sharing an awful lot of DONU tweets right now. Has great hands and goes up for the ball! He will be a mismatch for most DB’s and linebackers when we line him out wide!
  11. I will look but I do remember him using it at Oregon and vaguely remember him using it earlier this year. (I didn’t watch all the games). If I am wrong I apologize but will definitely look now.
  12. In this offense, we will be using Jet sweep regardless of how good our QB runs. Love having to make the other team defend the WHOLE field!!!
  13. Kid seems to have amazing speed, love how fast he accelerates!!! Excited to get a JUCO kid! Also side note played with Elijah Blades last year. I know there is a lot of talent at this JUCO
  14. 247 has him listed as 6’2, Rivals has him at both 6’1 and 6’0. He plays with good length and seems to have good coverage skills. Would love to have some good size in our Defensive Backfield!
  15. I think our offense is going to be just fine, we need to sure up our pass blocking a bit. Defense was very vanilla! We will have to figure out how to cover receivers and how to get any pressure on the QB!!!
  16. If he plays big time ball I would say 100% since they placed him at his JUCO
  17. Sounds like a mature kid. I'm betting Nebraska told him he will qualify IF he gets his butt to work in the classroom. Spoiler: he didn't. Mattyice that's right, he said that his mom wanted him to go to Nebraska because of Williams, and that his dad did not like Williams. He did not like idea of him going to Nebraska or Williams at all and wanted him to go to Florida. The coach also said that Nebraska set a plan for him to get eligible and that he just never committed to following it. He thought about going JUCO route here in so cal but, that it wouldn't be good for him to be close to home.
  18. I talked to his seven on seven coach last night at my kids practice here in So cal, and he said he was placed at Western Arizona and will be going to Florida after he is done. Also said Blades told him he he never wanted to go to Nebraska and that he only committed because of going against his father.
  19. Just saw him hit a 48 yarder to put Wisconsin ahead and he is jumping up and down pointing to his number and then up to Foltz!! Class act and I will be rooting for him for the rest of his career Gaglianone said Sam carried the ball over the upright and also talked about honoring Foltz. http://host.madison.com/wsj/sports/college/football/badgers-football-notes-rafael-gaglianone-rebounds-from-sophomore-slump-with/article_f4767daf-5566-5fa1-969e-e346df0bf9be.html Good win for you guys today. Thanks for the post Badger!! Yea we had a good win, but we def have some things we have to clean up! Your defense played lights out today and Clement ran the ball well s well!!
  20. Looked at Oregon's stats tonight from their game this week and they gave up a lot of yards in the air. UC Davis had over 300 yards passing and had the ball for 15 minutes more than the Ducks. Oregon's offense had a good game they had almost 600 yards of total offense and were very balanced with throwing and running. I really think we may have to throw a bit more to have a chance beating them.
