  1. You mean 'out' like this week, or at the end of the season? I was wondering the same thing. I think it it would be best to leave now, instead of drawing this out for another month or two
  2. That's crazy. I'd just DVR it and skip through the commercials
  3. I really thought Heard was going to redshirt this year, leaving Green, Abdullah, and Jones fighting for playing time behind Burkhead. Not saying Heard isn't as skilled as the others, but with Abdullah playing special teams and Green coming in with huge expectations, it just seemed like the logical thing to do. And you can tell Green's not taking his lack of playing time lightly just by watching his demeanor on the sidelines. As far as Turner goes, just read knapplc's 11/7/11 presser, guess he's been sick.
  4. I would suggest that you not mention this to Solich. I was thinking the same thing
  5. Most likely... Just wondering why you guys think he's leaning towards Alabama? Is it because he's scheduled a visit? just the word out of the recruiting sites that he's a heavy lean I see, thanks

  7. Westerkamp is putting in some recruiting efforts along with Michael Rose. Those two have done a great job with Fuller, Diggs, and Beaver. This. I hope they keep it up so we can land these guys.
  8. Thanks for a great career Mr. Crick.
  9. wth....why would you do this to my eyes? I think that was in brail. thanks for the article irieboy.
  10. Just wondering if anyone's heard anything about what the recruits thought about last night's game?
  11. I was wondering the same thing. During halftime of the TCU/Baylor game, they were saying OU is in talks with multiple conferences, but I have a feeling they're either going to the Pac12 or SEC. It'd be pretty nice if they joined the B1G though. I just hope the B1G acts fast and don't miss out on the better teams in the Big 12-2-1 and end up with KU, KSU, and Iowa St.
  12. A buddy of mine introduced me to Quentin Castille's dad today at work. He's a really nice guy and had nothing but good things to say about Neb. and their fans. He told me "Q" was doing well and is currently working for a heat stress company down here in TX and was also getting ready for the supplemental draft this year in hopes of playing pro football. We only spoke for a couple of minutes but I was glad to hear his son was doing good.
  13. According to ESPN, he's now set to go to Baylor.
  14. The hatred for OU runs deep in this one. I LOVE IT!!!! My wife and were at Salt Grass Steakhouse last night and a Longhorn fan bought us and about 15 other Husker fans a round and told us to "Give those xxxholes hell!"

    WOW

I came down Friday night and there were thousands of Husker fans everywhere. Great people. We also drove by the stadium this morning around 10am and there were thousands of people (mostly Husker fans )already there partying away. My wife and I are heading over there in about 30 min.
  16. I don't know why, but this one always makes me laugh.....
  17. @ Never Skerd, you beat me to it.

  18. Great news! Congrats gentlemen, you deserve them. :bonesflag:
  19. I live right outside of Amarillo and heard about one of the football players getting arrested on drug charges, but forgot to look it up. What a shame.
  20. I've got one just as good, if not better. This Saturday, the Arkansas Razorbacks are having a "Red Out." Why is this funny? Because this week the Razorbacks play...Alabama. Yes, that's right - the same Alabama that wears red, as well. Of course, things are little more difficult for the Razorbacks for this one - their colors are red (well, a kind of red, not a real red) and white. And, of course, Alabama's colors are...red and white. Bizarre...
  21. This was somewhat of a hot topic yesterday on ESPN, showing and discussing the video on almost all of their shows. Apparently, the only reason the guy wanted to be the mascot for Ohio was so he could do this very thing. "It was actually my whole plan to tackle Brutus when I tried out to be mascot," said Brandon Hanning, formerly known as Ohio University's Rufus Bobcat. "I tried out about a year ago, and the whole reason I tried out was so I could come up here to Ohio State and tackle Brutus." "Bobcats coach Frank Solich summed up it nicely: "Obviously we needed to tackle the guy with the ball, not the mascot."
  22. Yeah, that sucks. ESPN's reporting that he's "thought to have killed himself with a gunshot to the head." Sad stuff.
