^^^I guess that's what I'm trying to say.  Why should players have to "tune stuff out" from supporting fans on their home court?  I'm good either way...was just curious.

I'll admit that I don't like it, but like JJ said, the players don't hear it. This all started when Rachel Schwartz was here and the crowd started shouting her name when she was announced as a server.

Hey, they won in three sets, and have obviously done well if this has been "a thing" for a while.  If the women like it, I'll chime in if I ever get to a game.   

In my brain, I was equating it to Husker fans waiving signs, screaming, and whatever other distractions behind the basket while Huskers were trying to shoot free-throws.  It's something that would never happen.

But if it isn't new, don't change it
