Who picked us below CU, K-State, and Kansas? A lot of publications before the season had the huskers hovering around 5th or 4th only Phil Steele had us higher. it's nice to prove everyone wrong ........except that egotistical maniac phil steele.

this kinda reminds me of that K-State history of the big 12 north post. they are off living in their own little world oblivious to the stink that is their own team.

I'm pulling for a gator bowl but since we own the Alamo and have a ton of recruits down there in texas an Alamo bowl would be a very nice game to land.

i like this kid and his playing style his tape kinda reminds me of a raw undeveloped Roy Helu. hopefuly he commits he Helu and Castille would make our backfield even more dangerous then it already is.

he'd be a nice addition to our team and our secondary. if he signs he would have a full year to learn the system and play part time behind Thenarse and or Asante depending what safety he play's. plus he would bring our Rivals ranking up some.

i see where you could be a little worried about letting teams hang with us but 14 of the 28 points laid on us in the KSU game where due to accidents, the baylor game where they hung around till the half was due to our guy's coming out slow. Pelini went into the half of that game and got them ready to play for the second half. Iowa state from what i understand we dominated so in this upcoming game if we play smart stick to our hard nosed running game and stingy D we should win. but on the flip side if we come out stupid we will be in for a dog fight.........

You know that CU will use this fact to be fired up to play Nebraska...going to be another typical game between CU and Nebraska...Nebraska can't just come in and think they are going to go thru the motions and win...they are going to have to dominate CU. CU would love to play spoiler. well thats why i said "potentially" make the Gator bowl. Bo will have our boy's only thinking of playing CU not bowl options. it's gunna be a tough game, they always are. i think we got a good chance to win but it's gunna take us staying with our run game and winning the time of possesion.

i wouldn't count on us playin FSU if we make the Gator that conference is up in the air for a couple teams to grab. it would be cool to play FSU but i won't get my hopes up yet.

it's a tie for me between Frazier and crouch both could change the entire aspect of the game with either their legs or their arm. you gotta give some love to Frost, Taylor, Gill Tagge, and Humme and the list goes on..... but these two from what i have seen where game breakers and standout's in our proud program's history.

yea everybody thought this game would atleast be "decent" now it's a full fledged rape.

yea ND definently gets the game ball today for helping us potentially make the gator if we win this next week.

i hope we win out and finish this season 8-4. that's what my focus is right now but just for the h*ll of it now that ND has lost i really think we got a good shot to sneak into the gator bowl. while i would like the gator we have owned the Alamo of late so it would be awesome to return there as well.

i can see some similarities between rodrigues and cally. both brought in systems that didn't fit the current talent they both had upon arrival at their respective programs. and both are hard headed enough no to change their schemes to fit their strengths to ensure atleast a .500 season. the big differance though is that Rodriguez brings some College credentials thanks to a successful run at WVU. Callhan honestly brought nothing credential's wise on top of the fact he just plain sucked.

no doubt it will hurt but i don't think to badly. Pat witt has been solid from what i have seen and Zach Lee has had both coaching staff's rave about his ablities. plus you can't count out last years signee spano who is a nice dual threat qb and Cody Green could be in the mix next year as well

yea BO wasn't gunna make alot just because he has no major Head Coaching experience. but Dr. Tom will bump that up considerably if the huskers fare well next year.

i vote for a boot in a buffaloe's @ss as to what a trophy may look like. plus like every body else said this isn't a rivalry the only think rivalry about it is that happens to occur during "Rivalry week".

i really like the way he play's he would have a little more NFL hype if callahan wouldn't have screwed everything up last season.

i try not to hate the retarded but when they bring it upon them self's like CU fans usually do it makes it a lil' bit easier.

we are loaded at safety thanks to good recruiting. and i think Thenarse and Asante take off next year , it's hard to learn a totally new defensive scheme that has no resemblances to the scheme cally ran before. i think next year they tear it up back there with help from wald smith and osborne. oh and btw o'hanlon has done a nice job he has made some mistakes but the kid bust's his @ss out there.

Florida Atlantic - WIN 35-17 Arkansas State - WIN 42-10 at Vtech - WIN 27-21 Louisiana Layette - WIN 36-13 at Missouri - WIN 34-24 Texas Tech - WIN 38-35 Iowa State -WIN 41-17 at Baylor - WIN 33-21 Oklahoma - LOSS 38-28 at Kansas - WIN 49-31 Kansas State -WIN 55-14 at Colorado - WIN 31-21 11-1 overall 7-1 big XII and north champs I think next season will will be a good one for nebraska. don't know who will be QB but either Witt or Lee would do a good job plus watson will coach them up right. our Defense will be our strength along with our O-line. we return players that have seen quite a bit of action be it stepping in for injured players or just substitution time. i think we go on to win the north. the only teams that could compete with us in the north are kansas and mizou. u can scratch mizzou off that list because they lose everybody on top of the fact they suck. Kansas is good but that defense has not shown improvement as the season wears on. Plus next season they lose a good one in Mike Rivera. The whole sched. sets up nice for the huskers and i hope we can pull out something close to what i projected here. GO BIG RED!!!!

i am excited about this kid playing ball for us. i hope he stay's commited cuz he would give watson so many more options. he would help the option we run a bit with Ganz and it is dangerous but with a faster QB like Green we could start running it like we did several years ago. he is also a darn good passer from what i saw when i watched his rivals highlight tapes. he's the kind of athlete that will make watson's offenses chirp idk when he will start for us be it as a frosh or whenever but it is well worth the wait.

i'm pulling for the Alamo Bowl since we own that turf. we havent lost their since i don't know when and we would have more fans there than Fizzou. OSU might get it but its possible we jump them and nab it. no offense to the sun bowl but the alamo is more prestigous. but the sun will make a hard run at us since they are inducting dr. tom. i don't think we get the Gator just because like this post said earlier Notre dame draws such a enormous tv crowd. in the end i think we slip into the Alamo whip Iowa 38-24 and end Pelini's first year 9-4.
