Kid has some moxie to him. Very decisive on the read option with great vision like a running back. Great pocket awareness with a decent arm. Seems to have some speed and very smart runner in the open field. I was always waiting for him to get caught on the long runs but he just eeks out a touchdown.

Is Keys a December grad and Mcdaniel not. Interesting??

It would be twice that Bo and Co stole a 4 star Dual threat QB away from Willy Taggert, hopefully this one ends the same on signing day as Brion. But, hope he is more successful than Brion. I think he will be successful. His biggest problem will be where can he impact the team the most. I think he should get a long look at qb, but if that doesn't work out he could play wr, safety, or LB

Awesome get. This kid will be proof that stars dont mean much. He is a 3 star kid. Get him in the weight room for a year or 2 in college and let him develop and he will be a beast. His arms are so long and he is very athletic. This kid will be a nightmare for opposing tackles in college in a couple years. Great get staff. Lets keep it rolling.

I don't know HuskerHill...I live in Tampa (a 3 hour drive to JVille) and I am not going and it's not b/c of who we are playing or the bowl...but I am not going to spend the money to make the trip, tix, etc only to see them get pounced...which may or may not happen...but since I am not a betting man, I will just keep my money... So, for me anyway, it is b/c how the team is playing and that makes me sad. Is that the fan definition of the bandwagon. I will cheer for us if we are good or we have a great chance to win. If I lived 3 hours away I would be there for sure. Well...good for you....you are awesome. It is the definition of a fan that doesn't have a lot of extra cash especially around Christmas time that really isn't interested in spending money he doesn't have to be disappointed with a team that may or may not show up. I guess since you know me so well, you can go ahead and make that judgement call (and for what's it worth, I will be wearing red and screaming and cheering my butt off for the Husker as they play, but it will just have to be from my living room) If it is a money issue it is completely understandable. If the decision is based purely off team performance then it is a matter of being a fair weather fan. Money is the reason I can make it to only 1 game a year and the spring game. If I could just stop having kids I could maybe go to more games. I will be sitting on my couch cheering for them just like you are. GBR!!

Or you can look at Auburn and say offense wins championships. They dont play a lick of defense and they are playing for a national title. I agree that our defense is something to get excited about for the next few years. But I think if you have an elite unit, whether it be offense or defense you can win a championship.

I agree with eichorst policy. Maybe in this situation he could have broke it early to squash rumors. The main target of the blame would be the media. They circulated the rumors and speculation like a bunch of middle schoolers. Everyday 3 papers would run articles of bo being fire, and that would be after a win. The media needs to be held a little accountable in creating uncertainty.

Like the matchup. Anytime u get a chance to beat an sec on their turf it can't hurt your program. If we go beat the purple kittens in the bww game on Dec 28 nobody cares. recruits can see us beat an sec team in their backyard . We want to be elite but it takes time. U need to build consistency and recruit to players to match your scheme. We have been transitioning from a pro style to a spread attack. We are now getting the athletes we need to run it at all position. Defense we are finally able to recruit the type of.players we need to fit our system. Just look at all the young talent we have. It will only get better to. Players and parents love bo. We will continue to be able to recruit better players. Staff continuity will help oo. People want to be great now but look how long it took Oregon to get rolling. In the early to mid 2000's they we're riddled with 7,8,9 win seasons but they stuck with their philosophy and staff bc they knew they we're on the cusp of something great. We are not that far away from being great. Our young defense should start to dominate next year. And If you don't think bo can coach just look at the growth of our defense this year. Future is bright. Don't let a few impatient people ruin what could be a special run. Look at programs that have 8/9 wins that have serious recruiting advantages over us. LSU,Texas, Texas A and M, USC, Mich, Florida, Miami, Georgia. None of those trams with the exception of uga had anywhere near the injuries we experienced either.
